So much has happened in Hannah Ferrier’s life since her time on Below Deck Mediterranean. She now has a husband, Josh Roberts; a 5-year-old daughter, Ava; and has since reunited with Captain Sandy Yawn. She also revealed if she’d ever return to the world of Below Deck … as a charter guest.
Hannah shared she would be a charter guest on Below Deck, depending on who her chief stew would be. “As if anyone’s ever going to say no to being a charter guest on a super yacht, you’d be crazy,” she said during the Below Deck Captains & Crew Oughta Know panel at BravoCon 2025 on Friday, Nov. 14. “If you gave me a new chief stew to play with, and I could come and poke them, I’d be able to go and have a lot of fun with it. Because we just see a lot of things that regular guests don’t see.”

Hannah also spoke about her and Captain Sandy’s reunion during the panel. She revealed that they had originally reunited due to a mutual friend. “So we were lucky,” she admitted. “So many years had passed,” she continued. “I’d had my little girl. And so I invited Sandy over to my house, kicked my husband and kid out just in case, and we just sat down and had a good, honest chat with no cameras, no microphones. And I think that’s what Sandy and I needed at the time was to both just be able to speak honestly.”
Now, Captain Sandy and Hannah are working together again. “We’ve been traveling around America ever since,” Hannah admitted.
Captain Sandy revealed that they’ve been doing a “live fireside chat” for City Cruises. “Everybody wanted to know about what happened and how we got back together again,” Sandy noted.
Hannah continued during the panel, admitting that the response to their reunion has been so positive. “I think it’s so nice,” she admitted.

“And I feel like, obviously, when you watch Below Deck, there’s so much footage, we’re filmed 24/7, there’s so many different crew members, and I feel like there was a lot that the audience didn’t see with Sandy and I over the years. So I guess for us, I feel personally it’s great that the audience is happy and I’m so happy with that. But the biggest thing for me is that we’re good.”

However, Hannah admitted that she does not keep up with Below Deck Med during the panel. “So I’ll be completely honest, I watch all of Below Deck except for Mediterranean,” she said.

“There is still something in me where I can’t watch it. It’s weird, I don’t know what it is, and it’s so sad, because it’s the best franchise,” she added.
