What to expect from Below Deck Down Under Season 4
Below Deck Down Under Season 4 marks a franchise first with the RHOSLC Season 6 crossover. But this isn’t the only exciting thing to happen on board M/Y Katina. In the trailer, the crew can be seen bonding with one another during their off time, while Daisy engages in a steamy kiss with João. Jenna can be seen being torn between pursuing a romance with Ben and Eddy, while Daisy warns her to stay away from him. But it isn’t just romance brewing between the cast members, as it appears that their egos are getting in the way.
According to an announcement for the new season, “Chef Ben demands perfection. When Sous Chef Alesia doubts her ability to meet Chef Ben’s relentless standards, she questions her future onboard and reaches her boiling point. For Chief Stew Daisy, this season is unchartered territory as she adjusts to a new captain and navigates a larger vessel. It becomes clear this season won’t be smooth sailing though, as one of her stews must leave the boat before the charter begins, and her team is stretched thin. As the season continues, tensions and tempers erupt between her stews, and Daisy must decide whether to draw the line or allow her leadership to be questioned.”
João is dealing with a conflict of his own, as he “has been promoted to second officer and runs a tight operation until galley drama puts him in the hot seat,” according to the announcement. “As tension between Daisy and Chef Ben heats up, João’s growing feelings for Daisy and loyalty to Chef Ben collide, threatening to sink João and Chef Ben’s seven-year-long friendship. With veteran heads of departments clashing and chaos mounting, Captain Jason realizes that more experience also means bigger egos, proving that even the pros can go overboard.”
