What cast members from RHOSLC are on the Below Deck Down Under crossover?

What happened on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6 with the Below Deck Down Under cast?

This crossover was featured on RHOSLC Season 6, Episodes 7 through 9, and resulted in a ton of drama.

For starters, the charter kicked off with Heather and Britani arguing over who was going to pursue Captain Jason. Ultimately, the snowflake holders gave Britani the OK to flirt with both Captain Jason and the rest of the crew, but under the condition that she couldn’t mention her on-again-off-again boyfriend Jared Osmond — otherwise, they would get the opportunity to throw water on her if she said his name.

Angie Katsanevas was sick on board

Elsewhere on the RHOSLC-BDDU crossover, Angie dealt with seasickness almost immediately after getting on board. She struggled throughout the first day of the charter, skipping both lunch and dinner, and ended up having Captain Jason come to her aid at the end of the night. Mary also stayed with her in her room that evening, taking her dinner from bed, while Angie spent the evening throwing up and laying in bed with her eyes closed as the women argued upstairs.

After she got over her seasickness, Angie dealt with a second medical emergency, when a door closed on her hand while she was dressing up with Bronwyn. Her finger ended up bleeding, resulting in Jason coming to her rescue again, and bandaging her up.

Lisa Barlow felt alienated by the women

Meanwhile, Lisa felt isolated during the first evening on board after she was accused of planting stories by the rest of the women. She eventually left an explosive dinner in tears, calling her husband, John Barlow, to cry about how frustrated she was with the women. “I’ve never done anything to them” she told him.

She ended the evening sitting with her feet in the water, crying on the phone, alone without the rest of the women.

Britani Bateman brought a special guest on board

Jared included a stuffed unicorn in Britani’s bag with a sweet message he recorded that said: “Goodnight baby. You are loved.”

Bronwyn and Meredith eventually threw the unicorn overboard, but lucky for Britani, it was rescued by chief stew Daisy Kelliher, who delivered it back to her at the end of the charter.

“I think this is a testament to how great that Salt Lake cast is,” she said. “It was the best 46 minutes of Bravo television I’ve ever watched both weeks. I never want them to leave. I want them to be The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Down Under on a boat. That’s the spinoff I need.”

Captain Jason teases the Below Deck Down Under and RHOSLC crossover

When the RHOSLC Season 6 teaser trailer was first released, Jason took to his Instagram Story, where he teased what’s to come from the charter. “What a kickstart to a season,” he wrote over the reposted trailer, tagging Heather. “what happens on board, stays on board, no receipts!”

Captain Jason also poke with Us Weekly in October, where he admitted that so much happened during the crossover. “We didn’t know what we were in for but wow. What a wow,” he said. “What a start to the season, I’ll tell you. To be quite honest, there’s a lot going on now. There’s a lot happening, and I don’t think you can fit that much into a three-day charter.”

But, Jason revealed that he had a lot of fun with the women. “I don’t think we’ve had [that] much drama go on, [but] it was so much fun, too,” he continued. “I don’t know how much I can say, but from some injury happening, I’m playing doctor to one of them…I was a doctor. I was a yoga instructor. I was a Zen master. I had to be everything to try and calm the whole thing down.”

Andy Cohen teases the Below Deck Down Under and RHOSLC crossover

Andy Cohen also teased what’s to come from the RHOSLC and Below Deck Down Under crossover. Lisa appeared on an Oct. 28 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where Andy noted that he was excited to see what was to come from the charter on Below Deck Down Under.

“If you guys loved the Salt Lake City episodes of Below Deck, wait until you see the reverse side from the Below Deck vantage point,” he said.

“I’m excited to see that. I’m nervous,” Lisa added.
