The Valley’s Lala Kent and Kristen Doute didn’t always get along when sharing the screen on Vanderpump Rules, but where do the former SUR-vers stand today?
Kristen cleared the air on the Nov. 30 episode of her and her fiancé’s shared podcast, Balancing Act with Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick, as she discussed the recently-aired special Raise Your Glasses to 11 Seasons. In short, all is well between her and Lala at this point in time.
“We had a road to get back to a friendship,” the mom of one admitted. “And, for me, it was how genuine she was, and it was how hard she tried, and how she was very humble and willing to admit fault and apologize for things that hurt my feelings.”
Kristen said she had talked about their feud “a bunch of times” on her podcast, and Lala, too, on Untraditionally Lala. And it was important to Kristen that she take accountability for her own actions.
“Really, once I got over the stubbornness of being angry or wanting to be right, I just wanted to be right because I felt hurt,” she confessed. “It was, like, now I have so much history with her, 10 years of friendship that we’ve grown together so much, that she’s a mom of two girls, and I want that friendship. That’s a very valuable friendship to me.”

Why were Lala Kent and Kristen Doute feuding?
It was through Brittany Cartwright that Kristen learned Lala had severed all ties with her, prompting Kristen to call her relationship with Lala “conditional.” Lala later said she attempted to reconnect with Kristen during her pregnancy with baby Kaia Lily, but it was radio silence … until both were invited to a mutual friend’s baby shower.
Why Lala Kent apologized to Kristen Doute
After receiving the invitation, Lala said she wrote Kristen “a lengthy text message.”
“I do feel like our fallout really was only my fault,” she said, citing her fertility journey and that she was coming off of a rough Vanderpump Rules Season 11 as for why she was so quick to cut people off.
Soon, Lala and Kristen were back to following each other on Instagram, and the rest is history. Lala even told Us Weekly that she felt “really, really happy” about reconciliation.
