Brielle Biermann is opening up about where she stands with her dad, Kroy Biermann, today. Brielle is currently witnessing the divorce between her mom, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak, and Kroy, and she has some thoughts about it.
The 28-year-old appeared on Reginae Carter’s YouTube show, Heir Time, on Sept. 5, where she was honest about her current relationship with Kroy, who legally adopted her in 2013. “I’d say it’s just like, here and there,” she said.
She continued, noting that her younger sister, Ariana Biermann, perfectly summed up their relationship with their dad during a June 29 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (more on that down below). “She said it depends on which divorce filing he’s filing that day,” she noted. “Because it’s like, every other day there’s something new.”
“It’s just difficult, cause you know, my mom’s my mom, and she will always be my mom, and I love Kroy and Kroy will always be my dad, I just don’t think that I’m seeing eye to eye with him on a lot of things right now, so I would say our relationship is not frayed, it’s just not what it once was,” she added.

“We’re still decently close, but it’s just not what it once was,” she concluded about the former NFL player.
That was evidenced on Sept. 12, when timed to his 40th birthday, Brielle offered up her birthday wishes for Kroy on Instagram. “40 years old. Time is flying by,” she wrote about his milestone birthday, and also shared a number of photos with her and her dad.

“It goes in waves,” the Next Gen NYC cast member told WWHL host, Andy Cohen, in June 2025. “It depends on what motion he’s filing throughout this insane divorce this week.”
“He will always be my dad, no matter what, I think that it’s a tough situation right now, because I think a lot of these things are coming from anger, and nothing else,” she added.

Brielle admitted on Heir Time, however, that she is in a great place with her mom. Brielle said that she is a “superwoman” as she does her best to raise the six kids that she shares with Kroy.

“I really feel for my mom,” Brielle noted. “It’s been really, really difficult for her and Kroy, but I really don’t know how she’s standing, some days. Sometimes I look at her and I’m like, ‘You really are superwoman.’ And I know everybody says that about their mom, but if you only knew.”
