Captain Sandy Yawn has officially closed her logbook on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10.
After the final group of guests departed Bravado on the Below Deck Med finale, Captain Sandy applauded her crew — including Aesha Scott, Nathan Gallagher, Max Salvador, Josh Bingham, Kizzi Kitchener, Victoria SanJuan, Cathy Skinner, and Joe Bradley — for a memorable charter season.
“You guys did it, she declared. “I am really proud of all of you, how you evolved over the season.”
After addressing each team member’s growth individually, Captain Sandy revealed the grand total of their tips to be $219,000, which worked out to be about $19,900 in each person’s pocket.

“This season, the tips are great because of the performance of the crew,” she explained in a confessional. “The joy that they had was wonderful. To reflect on everything that happened and how we stuck together, it was pretty frickin’ amazing.”
Even so, several Below Deck Med crew members were still navigating complicated relationships, friendships, as well as questions about the next steps in their careers. Below, get all the latest updates on the cast’s lives after they returned to dry land.
How Captain Sandy Yawn ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
At the final tip meeting of Season 10, Captain Sandy announced that she was skipping dinner with the crew because she had a special guest arriving: her wife, Leah Shafer.
In a confessional, Captain Sandy revealed that she intended to make up for lost time with Leah in Europe.
“Being recently married, it’s hard to be away from your person. We’re gone for a long time,” she said. “I want to share a little bit of my Europe with Leah, places that she has not been that I have lived for a long time. I want to show her the magic of Barcelona.”
How Aesha Scott ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
Chief stew Aesha remarked in one of her final confessionals that she and fiancé Scott Dobson had some major wedding planning on the agenda — and now, their big day has almost arrived.
“Apart from the obvious of marrying my love, I’m most excited for all of my worlds to collide,” Aesha told The Daily Dish in an exclusive interview. “My friends that are coming from overseas, people I have bonded with over all my years of travel and doing the show, are such a huge part of my life, but have never seen my hometown or met my family. The thought of walking down the aisle and looking up and seeing them in my home space just makes me want to cry tears of joy instantly.”
Even though she is “still friends with almost everyone” she’s filmed with, Aesha revealed that the Below Deck cast members, past and present, who made her wedding guest list include Captain Sandy, Nathan, Gael Cameron, Hannah Ferrier, and Anastasia Surmava.

Reflecting on Season 10, the chief stew admitted that there was one thing she might have handled differently.
“The only part I would change would be keeping Max from seeing Cathy when her stepdad passed,” Aesha shared. “I genuinely thought at the time she’d prefer space to process it, but seeing how she reacted to seeing Max when she finally saw him, I realize that judgment was wrong. And worse still was that Nathan got a lot of the blame for that, when it was clearly my call.”
On the career front outside of charter season, Aesha said that she is excitedly working on launching her alcoholic coconut water brand, DROP, in California this summer, before expanding across the United States: “I’m feeling hopeful it will be a hit.”
How Nathan Gallagher ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
Nathan ended Below Deck Med Season 10 by looking back on some highs and lows of his first outing as a bosun.
“This season felt like I’ve gone through a f–kin’ tornado, a tsunami,” he remarked to a producer. “I cannot believe we’ve made it this far. Yeah, I’m just proud of myself.”
In his personal life, Gael officially decided to give their relationship another chance, noting in the finale that they would take “baby steps,” moving forward. Her choice of words was ironic because when the Jan. 26 episode flashed forward 11 months, Gael emerged holding their baby, Kayden Cameron Gallagher, who was born in June 2025.
As Nathan said goodbye to Gael and their son in Dubrovnik, Croatia, an onscreen graphic teased that you can expect to see the family return on the upcoming Below Deck Med Season 11.
How Kizzi Kitchener ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
Kissing Joe during the finale seemed to close the chapter on their complicated boatmance, as it helped her reach the “epiphany” that she was “actually in love with” ex Tom Whiteley, whom she broke up with earlier on Season 10.
After filming wrapped, Kizzi got engaged to Tom, and she shared more exclusive details with The Daily Dish.
“He proposed after about a year of us being in a relationship,” she said. “Tom designed my ring himself, which makes it even more special. Getting engaged felt genuinely magic.”

Noting that they’re “almost done” with planning, Kizzi joked that she let her “inner yacht stew loose on the table decorations.” She added, “The whole process of planning a wedding has felt so easy. We really do make a good team.”
In the meantime, Kizzi has been living in London and working as a personal assistant but just signed with a music theater agent and hopes to have “some exciting news” to share in the near future. Meanwhile, she is “still super close with” Aesha and Cathy.
Kizzi concluded, “I’ve actually really enjoyed watching the show back and remembering all of the laughs and loves, highs and lows, and poos in showers.”
How Joe Bradley ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
By the end of Season 10, self-described “f–k man” Joe was at odds with both V and Nathan, following his fling with Kizzi. As Joe exclusively shared, he did not stay in touch with V post-filming but has had some communication with Kizzi.
Noting that he “was surprised” by Kizzi’s engagement, he elaborated, “We’re still in contact. We sometimes message each other and laugh with the hate comments we get. People are very passionate.”
Joe also stated that watching the season play out “definitely changed” his perspective on some things.
“This is the second time my decisions have upset people, and seeing it all laid out made it impossible to ignore,” the lead deckhand said. “I’ve lived it, I’ve watched it back, and I own that. …This season showed my flaws as much as my fun side, and I’m genuinely working on becoming better. I’m grateful for the opportunity and for everyone who took the time to watch.”
Nowadays, Joe is closest to Cathy, adding, “She’s my girl, a real one.”
For the first time in his life, he said that he’s also taken time off from work to travel to Southeast Asia, Australia, and South America. Joe plans to begin a new bosun position in late March 2026.
How Victoria SanJuan ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
As mentioned, V and Joe did not stay in touch after Below Deck Med Season 10. “I have too much respect for myself and my energy to maintain any friendship with Joe,” she explained.
Meanwhile, the stew-turned-deckhand has seen Cathy the most since filming, and she credits Aesha, Josh, and Gael with having “truly been so genuine and real” with her. V also sent post-engagement well wishes to Kizzi and her fiancé, while revealing where their friendship stands today.
“With Kizzi, I have learned it is OK to agree to disagree, and that everyone is on their own journey,” she said. “We will always be cordial, but I would not say we are friends.”
There are some major changes ahead in V’s life, too, including a move to Australia and plans to re-enter the dating world, after the death of her boyfriend Bon, and the love triangle with Joe and Kizzi.
“I have found so much peace in being single and the process of really loving myself and life,” she explained. “I also have made leaps and bounds in my healing journey since Bon’s passing and the filming of the show. Hopefully, I stumble upon a gorgeous bilingual surfer-cowboy with impeccable manners that proves himself worthy.”
How Cathy Skinner ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
Even though Cathy was excited to see where her romance with Max might go post-filming, they broke up soon after Season 10 wrapped.
According to Cathy, Max was supposed to fly to see her in London before jetting off to Bali but canceled on her, just hours before his flight.
“He sent me a very long message explaining that he couldn’t be exclusive and wasn’t ready for a relationship, as he had only recently broken up with his ex and hadn’t healed from that,” Cathy exclusively revealed. “He then asked me to come to Bali to see him, but I wasn’t willing to fly across the world for someone who couldn’t get on a short flight to London.”
As for where Cathy and Max stand today, she continued, “We have seen each other since, but only when we happened to be in the same places for work. Today, we have a friendship — we check in with each other — but Max is on his own path and needs clarity and happiness within himself before being able to share that with someone else. I still don’t fully understand his text messages.”
Cathy concluded, “Everyone we both know tells me he always speaks very highly of me and has a great deal of respect for me. I’ll always appreciate him for being there for me during one of the toughest times in my life.”
How Max Salvador ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
Max, for his part, shared his perspective on his and Cathy’s post-filming breakup, chalking up the split to distance and their coming from different worlds.
“I wanted to go and develop my online hypnosis clinic in Bali, but instead she wanted to stay in the UK,” he explained. “I still would have loved our path to continue together because there is [nobody] that can replace a woman liker her.”
Today, Max said he is focused on teaching people how to join the yachting industry, while on a journey of self-discovery that includes practicing Muay Thai in Thailand. Aside from Cathy, he’s also maintained a “special” friendship with Chef Josh, despite them having “opposite” personalities.
How Josh Bingham ended Season 10 of Below Deck Med
Finally, Josh has been living in Melbourne, Australia, where he said he is currently studying music in the city and taking on private chef jobs in his downtime. What’s more, he plans to release his second album in May and has also been dating someone new.
In hindsight, there is one aspect of Season 10 that he would love to set the record straight on, however.
“I have never been into Kizzi,” Josh clarified. “Sometimes on boats, it’s just nice to have that someone as a comfort to fulfill things like hugs or whatever. It doesn’t mean it’s intimate. But I’ve realized the world doesn’t see things like that.”
Now that Below Deck Med Season 10 has come to an end, get the latest update on Nathan and Gael’s family life with baby Kayden today.
