So far on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Whitney Rose’s feud with Lisa Barlow has more or less taken a back seat to some more pressing drama — but that all changed at the end of Episode 3, culminating with an explosive fourth wall-breaking moment.
To set the scene, Lisa faced rumors about her multiple lawsuits head-on by hosting her RHOSLC castmates for a “clarity” lunch. Her “decor” included court documents that she’d blown up to poster size and emblazoned with the word “DISMISSED” in bright red font, as well as some personal photos of her and husband John Barlow on a boat and at a Utah Jazz NBA game, for good measure.
“But what does this clarify?” Whitney asked. From there, Lisa explained that she was denying all claims that she’d allegedly not paid back a business loan, insisting that the one lawsuit she was still facing had “absolutely no merit to it.”

The ensuing lunch table argument (more on that below) devolved into Lisa taking jabs at Whitney’s “failed” business, and Whitney eventually jumped out of her chair while defending herself.
As Whitney appeared ready to swiftly exit the lunch, Mary Cosby encouraged her to “sit down.” With cameras and the production team in full view for the audience to see, Whitney replied, “No, she triggered the s–t out of me, Mary,” before storming out of the room.
How Lisa Barlow’s lawsuits and Whitney Rose’s failed business came up during their argument
Prior to her abrupt departure, Whitney said she found Lisa’s “completely unhinged” argument and presentation about “allegations versus fact” to be entirely unconvincing. So, she pressed further about what the cast was “supposed to think” when they heard accusations about her allegedly “asking for $400,000.”
“This doesn’t prove anything, Lisa,” she remarked of her so-called evidence, which appeared to show only that she was denying that allegations, not that they’d all been invalidated.
When Lisa turned their intense back and forth around to speculation surrounding Whitney’s business dealings (which Meredith Marks had brought up first), Whitney accused her of “deflecting” and “being so hypocritical.” However, Lisa did not relent, and the confrontation only escalated when she unleashed more allegations about Whitney’s career, including some that were circulating on TikTok at the time.

“You don’t know anything you’re talking about. You are lying,” Whitney fired back, questioning why Lisa was “going there” in that moment and throwing up her middle finger. “You’re a f–king liar, and I’m done with you!”
Contending that “as a woman in business,” Lisa “should f–king care” that she was “fighting for” Wild Rose Beauty, Whitney insisted that she “did not pile on” when Bronwyn Newport dropped the lawsuit bombshell during the cast’s RV camping trip.
“[Meredith] didn’t stand up for you,” Whitney fumed. “Everyone talked about it, and I did not pile on!”
Just prior to Whitney’s walk-off, one of the last things Lisa shouted at her was, “Bye! You’re a f–king liar!”
How Whitney Rose defended her business failure to Lisa Barlow
As mentioned, Meredith was the first to point out to Whitney that “there are a lot of accusations” about her, but that “doesn’t make them true.”
Lisa, however, took that statement a step further by specifically asking about how Whitney was “unwinding” her business.
“You don’t know anything about my business,” Whitney responded. “I’m getting out of it. It didn’t work out for me.”
Still, Lisa, who claimed Whitney didn’t “know anything about” her business either, poked further, questioning if people had “put money into” her company. Whitney denied her claim, insisting that she and husband Justin Rose “put the money in” themselves and were actively “paying to get out of it.”
After approaching Lisa with her final word on the matter, Whitney doubled down, saying, “I am paying off all my debts. I’m paying my way out of my partnership because I have the money to do it. That’s the truth.”
