Whitney Rose and her husband, Justin Rose, have been the subjects of split rumors for years, and their relationship was tested further during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6. During Part 3 of the reunion, the couple let cameras capture a raw and vulnerable moment between them backstage, that gave fans a deeper understanding of the inner workings of their marriage.
It all started after Bronwyn Newport revealed that she and her husband, Todd Bradley, had separated after the season ended. Whitney was visibly shaken by the news, and tearfully asked reunion host Andy Cohen for “a minute” before leaving the stage.
“I need to see Justin,” she told producers. When Whitney reached her husband backstage, they hugged, and Whitney explained her tears.
“Bronwyn just told us that her and Todd are separated,” Whitney told Justin during Episode 19. “It just triggered me… Just like everything we’re going through — I tried to keep it together.”
“Stay strong. You got this,” Justin told his wife. “We’re good. You know we’re good.” As the couple held hands backstage, Whitney replied, “We’ll figure it out.”
After rejoining Andy and the rest of the Housewives on stage, Whitney explained why hearing about Bronwyn’s separation caused her to break down.
“I relate with her so much, because I know how hard it is to fight for something that you love so much. But sometimes you can’t figure it out,” Whitney shared, before turning to Bronwyn and adding, “I feel for you.”
Whitney Rose shares an update on Wild Rose Beauty after business “failure”
Whitney did have positive news to share concerning her business during the Jan. 27 episode, telling Andy, “I officially own Wild Rose Beauty, by myself.”
In case you need a refresher, Whitney revealed during the RHOSLC Season 6 premiere that she had “a business that failed” after she and Justin had gone “all in” on it. “And now we have nothing,” she concluded.
In Episode 2, she explained that she and Justin decided to “start a venture together,” and merged her skincare brand, Wild Rose Beauty, with “another entity.”
“We were wildly successful, to start,” Whitney explained. “Then, business started plummeting, and we’re just trying everything we can to make it through whatever we’re calling this phase of failure.”

She opened up again about her struggles to reclaim Wild Rose Beauty during Episode 12, telling producers, “Unfortunately, I’ve made a really bad decision, and right now I’m fighting to get out of ownership of this company. I’m fighting to get my name off of it, to remove me as an owner, and to get back my biggest asset, which is my Wild Rose Beauty name, brand, and inventory.”
During Part 3 of the reunion, Whitney was excited to share that she’d finally gotten her business back. “I fully separated. It was finalized over the middle of summer [2025],” she told Andy. “Unfortunately, I had to re-buy back my inventory.”

In Season 6, Whitney was open about the strain that was put on her marriage due to the business failure. At the reunion, she shared an update on where things stand today.
“Justin and I are continuing to work on communication,” she said. When Andy asked if she resented Justin, Whitney answered, “No, I don’t resent him. But, it’s been hard.”

She also shared a silver lining of the whole ordeal. “The good thing [the business failure has] brought is Justin and I can communicate almost too raw right now. We’re finally speaking about the hard truths about our marriage that we’ve swept under the rug for years,” she admitted. “When you rip off that Band-Aid of just saying, ‘I’m mad at you,’ it opens the door for him to say, ‘Well, guess what, I’m mad at you too.’ We’re working on it.”
Andy asked if Whitney feels like she and Justin will “be able to bounce back from this,” and Whitney candidly answered, “We’ve bounced back from harder. So, yes, there’s always a possibility.”
