Ladies of London: The New Reign cast member and South Carolina-raised socialite Margo Stilley may be new to Bravo fans, but she’s no stranger to the U.K.
In anticipation of the Bravo show’s March 5 premiere, Margot told The Daily Dish all about her life abroad — from her career to her family, and everything in between — as well as the reason she calls London home more than 20 years after crossing the pond. As she put it, “I stayed in London for the friends, the fun, the environment,” she said. “Every time I leave the house, I learn something new. I just love it.”

What does Margo Stilley do for a living?
Margo Stilley is a 42-year-old actress and model who’s married and has three children (as well as a dog!). “My career is in acting, but for the last few years, I have been a stay-at-home mom,” Margo told The Daily Dish.
That said, she and her Ladies of London: The New Reign castmate Martha Sitwell, plan to launch a podcast titled The Good, The Would, and The Should, an advice column with a twist. As Margo described it, “Martha and I have come up with a podcast where you can write in questions that you might need advice on, and we give you the good advice, the bad advice, and what you should probably do advice.”

Margo Stilley’s acting career and credits, explained
After declining a full scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design in favor of traveling the world, Margo relocated to London in her late teens to pursue a modeling career. According to her career bio, it was then that she landed her first acting role as the lead in Michael Winterbottom’s 9 Songs, an erotic film that’s mentioned in the Ladies of London: The New Reign Season 1 trailer. The topic of the movie arises when Margo notes, “In the early 2000s, I made the sexiest British film ever made,” and Kimi responds, “Is it a porn film?”
For what it’s worth, Margo has fiercely denied the film being pornography, and despite facing harsh criticism, she remains “proud” of her self-developed role, she told The Irish Independent in 2008.
The role saw Margo then “gracing the best dressed lists and solidifying her name as one of the industry’s most fashionable young stars, landing her photo shoots and interviews in glossy magazines,” including Vogue, InStyle, Elle, and many more, per her website. What’s more, Margo used her newfound platform to advocate for sex in mainstream media, taking her petitions (spoken and written) to the BBC, The Sunday Times, and Esquire.
Margo’s later acting roles included The Trip, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, and Hippie Hippie Shake, the latter of which starred Cillian Murphy and Sienna Miller.

After two decades on the London scene, Margo knows everything there is to know about the city’s nightlife. But, although “London nightlife is like no other,” she’s since traded the party scene for dinner, lounging around at home, and a good ol’ spot of chamomile tea.
“Oh, my God, the perfect day in London is waking up; if we have sunny weather, going out, meeting a friend for brunch, wandering through the city, maybe going to a museum or to one of the parks, and then having dinner and a night out,” she told The Daily Dish.
As for grub, Margo loves everything there is about food in England, no matter what others say.
“The biggest misconception about London is that the food is bad here; the food is amazing here, and actually, pub food is my favorite,” she continued. “The first thing I do when I get back to London is order an Indian takeaway, because the national dish here is chicken tikka masala.”
Does Margo Stilley know any other Bravolebs?
Interestingly, Margo already has a Bravoleb connection with Southern Charm‘s Whitney Sudler-Smith — from long before their respective shows.
“We met in London, at a dinner, and we connected because we’re both from South Carolina,” Margo explained. “And then we reconnected in South Carolina, which was super fun because it’s not that common that you have, like, very international people back home. And yeah, he actually invited me to join the cast of Southern Charm, but I was busy living in London, so I wasn’t able to join.”
