Despite bestie Salley Carson’s professed romantic interest in Craig Conover, Charley caught the Sewing Down South co-founder’s eye during Episode 2’s singles beach bash. Pursuing Craig wasn’t exactly her goal, though.

“Honestly, my approach to today is just to be approached,” Charley explained as the party got underway. “I’m not approaching anybody.”

Throughout the day, Charley and Craig’s interactions grew increasingly flirtatious, as they downed Jello shots, played beach games, and even took a dip in the ocean. When a frustrated Salley eventually called her out for being a “flirt with Craig,” though, Charley denied her friend’s interpretation.

“It was not like that at all,” Charley insisted. “I would tell you if it was, but it literally wasn’t.”

Salley replied in a nonchalant, loving way, but afterward, declared in a confessional that Charley was “full of s–t.”

The Southern Charm Season 11 announcement and trailer teased plenty more drama to come, too, as a “jealous rivalry” springs up between the two, with Craig at the center.

As she officially begins her Southern Charm journey, here’s everything you need to know about Charley.

Who is Charley Manley from Southern Charm?

According to her official BravoTV.com bio, “Salley’s friend Charley is a small-town former pageant queen who moved to Charleston to work in the city’s thriving art scene. Her beauty, grace, and charm immediately turn the heads of every eligible bachelor in town.”

Inside Charley Manley’s relationships with the Southern Charm cast

In another confessional from Southern Charm‘s Nov. 26 episode, Salley detailed her history with Charley, whom she described as being one of her “best friends,” at the time.

“We met when our exes were best friends,” Salley shared. “So, she was going through a breakup, and I was going through a breakup. And we got really, really close.”

As Charley elaborated to a producer, “She helped me get over my breakup, seriously. Like, I don’t think that I would be over my breakup without her at all. Like, she got me out of the house and, like, out of my shell.”

She continued, “So, we’re kind of each other’s wingwomen. Like, she’s a flirt; I’m a flirt. We love flirting with everybody. It’s fun.”

Charley, who appeared to be friendly with the cast, also revealed that she had previously met Shep Rose at a bar opening. “And he slid into my DMs after that,” she said. “But it’s a little, you know, like you’re texting your dad a little bit.”

At the party, Charley added, “Every time he asks me, like, on a date, I just always never respond.”

As it turns out, Craig was also already familiar with Charley. During Salley’s party, he told pal Kory Keefer that he was a judge when Charley competed in the Miss South Carolina pageant. Referring to her as “cute,” Craig added, “I picked her to win, and she got third.”

He, then, playfully claimed to Charley that he “never judged again,” because of her third-place finish, to which she replied, “I love that you picked me. That’s so nice.”

What does Charley Manley do for a living?

Since January 2023, Charley has worked as a gallery associate and art consultant at Charleston’s Meyer Vogl Gallery. She’s also a social media influencer, modeling and promoting companies, brands, and boutiques on her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
