Although Captain Jason Chambers planned to join his friend Heather Gay and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6 cast for dessert during an epic crossover charter with the Below Deck Down Under Season 4 crew, his plans quickly changed when he realized the monster of a fight unfolding during the dinner. Watch the clip above for the crew’s version of events in a first look from Episode 2, airing Monday, Feb. 9 at 8/7c on Bravo.
As M/Y Katina is docked in Charlestown Bay, Canouan, during Night 1 of the charter, chief stew Daisy Kelliher and head chef Ben Robinson attempt to serve dinner as Heather and Lisa Barlow erupt at each other. While the ladies sit with beautifully plated meals of panko-encrusted wahoo, saffron potato, and broccolini, Heather accuses Lisa of being “the source of all the dirt” concerning the new legal allegations that surfaced against Bronwyn Newport—and kicks off the explosive dispute at the table.
Meanwhile, in the galley, sous chef Alesia Harris says to Ben as he’s plating desserts, “You might need nine because Jason’s eating with them.” Ben replies abruptly, “Why are there not nine out?” Alesia explains, “Because I just remembered when Jason came in now.” Although Ben is visibly frustrated, he answers, “Wow. Alright. Just—it’s fine.”
As the argument upstairs continues, second officer João Franco, Jason, and Daisy arrive at the table bearing a deconstructed cheesecake with a dark chocolate sauce. While Heather and Lisa scream at each other, Bronwyn mutters to Jason, “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.”
After Jason serves his plates, he walks right back off the deck and into the yacht, declining to sit down with the ‘Wives. “I was gonna eat with them tonight, but I’m not gonna go there,” Jason explains to João.
“They’ve asked me to come for dessert,” he continues during his confessional. “But I’m entering the lion’s den right now.”
The Below Deck Down Under crew unpack the chaotic first dinner service
Captain Jason isn’t the only one perplexed by the Salt Lake City Housewives’ first dinner.
“Do they like it?” Ben asks Daisy as she returns to the galley. Daisy answers, “I don’t think they actually know what’s going on with the food. They’re in a full-blown argument.”
“I’ve had absolutely no feedback as to whether they’ve enjoyed dinner,” Ben tells producers, and then adds with a laugh, “Do they love me? Do they hate me? It doesn’t matter, I don’t think.”

So, Ben decides to venture up to the table to get a read on the situation. He asks the bickering group how dinner was, but it appears no one heard him except for Bronwyn, who tries and fails to ask the ‘Wives to “take a break.”
Mary Cosby shares her thoughts on the Below Deck Down Under Season 4 cuisine
One person, however, was undoubtedly pleased with Chef Ben’s food: Mary Cosby. During RHOSLC Season 6, Episode 7, Mary — who was eating in her cabin to keep a sick Angie Katsanevas company — proclaimed she’d “been blessed” with Ben’s delicious cooking. She later added, “I hope they appreciate this food up there.”

Later, during a Bravo HQ interview, Mary revealed she loved Ben’s food so much that she ordered two dinners.
“The food was so good. It was so good,” she recalled. “It tastes like a personal chef. It had that taste, you know? Like, I requested, and I ordered, and he knew me. He knew what to fix for me, and he did it. And that’s how it tasted.”
