“You know what’s really crazy? When I was dating Marcus, my kids were like, ‘Stop getting back together and breaking up and just get off the ride,’” she told her mother on the Season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami. “That’s when I was like, ‘I need to get away from the situation. My kids think that it’s not good for me.’ You know?”
The pair had been on-and-off again several times before Larsa confirmed the romantic saga was over for good in July 2024, forcing her to deal with the aftermath during Season 7 filming. Larsa was upset that the breakup was so public and tearfully confessed to her mother: “I don’t want to, like, have to address it. It’s so embarrassing.”
Why did Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan break up?
Larsa shared that she had strong feelings for her ex in the beginning but admitted there were red flags from the start.
“When we were first dating, paparazzi caught a girl going to his house…now that I look back at all this stuff, I’m like, ‘I shouldn’t have believed him then,’” Larsa told Alexia Nepola in the June 11 episode.
She claimed that his lifestyle was also a problem in the relationship.
“We went from really being in love—getting along—to me seeing a side of him that didn’t align with who I am as a person,” she said, and later added, “When we would go out, he would like to be the very last person in the club. I mean, like, there’s no one there but the janitors.”
Additionally, Larsa and Marcus faced tensions over their relationship with Marcus’ father, Michael Jordan, and Larsa’s ex, fellow NBA legend Scottie Pippen.
“I fought everyone to be with this guy and then it was not a good situation for me and my family. So, I had to remove myself from it,” she said.
