Lisa Spencer is on crutches after having hip surgery in October 2022.

While visiting a donation program at Franklin’s Christ United Methodist Church, she was spotted holding crutches.

In a social media post, she stated that after years of battling a hip ailment, she finally decided to go for surgery at Saint Thomas Surgery Center.

She expressed gratitude to her doctor and nurses for urging her to have the operation and for caring for her.

Following the surgery, she began participating in physical therapy at the Nashville Hip Institute to help her muscles recover more quickly. For three months, Casey and Kris took care of her.

She is still receiving therapy, and it will continue till December end. Lisa was working on The Last Minute Toy Store to raise donations. Each year, they provide services to around 6000 kids in Davidson County.

While supporting the Toy Store donation, some funds were provided by Franklin’s Christ United Methodist Church. Purchasing 26 bikes and 8 helmets, she shared a picture with sheriffs and another Lat Minute Toy Store foundation member.

Her supporters were concerned seeing her with crutches and were wondering how long she would need to rely on them. You need to take care of your body and get the assistance you need while you recover from hip surgery. It’s in her best interest.

She is working on a collection of children’s books on the weather that will feature her furry pals.

She is a prominent singer in the choir and in the Rock of Ages band. Lisa also participates in charity and is a member of “The Last Minute Toy Store’s” board of directors. Through the generosity of numerous neighbourhood residents, the project delivers toys each year to thousands of families.
