Why Teresa Giudice Loves Gia’s New Apartment: EXCLUSIVE

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice couldn’t be happier about her daughter, Gia Giudice’s, new home. The mom of four recently spoke with The Daily Dish about the Next Gen NYCer’s very first place of her own, sharing a few details about the N.J. apartment’s interior.

“I’m so happy for her, but her apartment’s beautiful, oh, my god,” Teresa gushed. “Now, after seeing her apartment — she moved to Jersey City — I wanna move into an apartment because I love the view and her skyline, like, it turns pink, red … it’s beautiful. The sunset, it’s absolutely incredible. So, I love the big windows from ceiling to floor. She has all the windows, like, in her kitchen and in her bedroom. So that’s my favorite part of her apartment.”

Fans got a peek of said windows when Gia moved into the high-rise last month, with the help of Teresa, stepdad, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, and boyfriend, Christian Carmichael.

Gia posted an inside look at her new digs on Instagram, including the “first of many sunsets” with her little canine companion, Bella. Movers and loved ones alike helped Gia move boxes and unpack furniture into the home, and there was no denying the spectacular sunset behind them as they went from room to room.

The “moving day” marked the 24-year-old influencer’s official exit from her family’s Montville, New Jersey, mansion, where she lived with sisters, Gabriella Giudice, Milania Giudice, and Audriana Giudice. On the evening before the big move, Gia expressed some apprehension about being away from home but cited the necessity of living closer to New York City for work.

“Moving is obviously really exciting but super scary,” she admitted. “I have always just loved being at home with my family and just being here with everybody. But, this move is definitely necessary, just for me, my life, and my career, and I’m so excited for these next steps.”

She credited her victorious role on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test for why she felt “totally OK” living on her own after debating the move for some time.

Teresa Giudice talks about a move of her own … to Florida

With Gia in her new place, Gabriella studying at the University of Michigan, and Milania enrolled at the University of Tampa, Teresa continues to feel the pull of Florida. As she explained at BravoCon 2025, she would wait until high school sophomore Audriana finished her senior year before possibly trading the Garden State for the Sunshine State.

“Well, Audriana wants to go to college in Florida … and Milania is in Florida, [and] I hate the cold weather,” Teresa admitted in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish. “I mean, I love Jersey, but not in the winter.”

Teresa and The Real Housewives of Miami’s Alexia Nepola agreed she’d make a fine Housewife in the sunny state. “I think I’d rather go to Miami,” Teresa cheekily said during the Passing the Bravo Torch panel on Nov. 14. “So, we’ll see what happens.”

Following the Giudices’ reconciliation with the Gorgas at BravoCon, find out how they plan to spend Christmas Eve together.
