A Texas man is accused of killing his girlfriend, who was a cheerleading coach and mother of three children. William Christian Thomas, 23, is charged with murder in the death of 24-year-old Rosalin S. Lewis, according to multiple reports including Beaumont ABC and NBC affiliate KBMT.
Cops in the city of Jasper discovered the body of Lewis on Nov. 18 after they received a call to the Myrtis Village Apartments in the 200 block of Myrtis Street at around 4 a.m. Investigators simply said she died of “blunt force trauma.” They did not immediately elaborate on the motive or the timeline of Lewis’ death.
Thomas was arrested and is being held for murder on a $1 million bond at the Jasper County Jail.

A GoFundMe campaign to pay for Lewis’ funeral and support her children said her three kids were ages 2, 3, and 5. The murder was described as “a malicious act of someone she trusted and once loved.”

Her lifetime dream was to become a Veterinary Tech and to continue leading and Coaching Stunning Stars to the State Championship. Rosalin’s impact was so amazing that every young girl she trained became a Cheerleader for Jasper High School. Rosalin will truly be missed and her legacy will live on forever with the love and memories from her children, family, team, friends and the Jasper community.
