Wisconsin Dad Charged With Reckless Homicide After 12-Year-Old Son Found Starved to Death in His Home – Crime Online

A Wisconsin father has now been charged with first-degree reckless homicide after the death of his 12-year-old son, whose decomposing and malnourished body was found in his home in Milwaukee last month.

Romuan Moye is still on the run after being charged with chronic neglect resulting in death and great bodily harm on October 14, as CrimeOnline reported. Jacarie Robinson’s body was found on October 10.

Investigators said Robinson was so malnourished that the medical examiner was unable to positively identify him. The ME said the boy had been dead for at least a week when he was found, but he had not been seen since Labor Day.

In addition to reckless homicide, Moye now faces several counts of chronic neglect and failure to report the death of a child, WISN reported.

A criminal complaint says that Moye had been keeping Robinson away from other family members for months and that the boy was starved to death, WDJT reported.

Three of Moye’s four children lived with him, but at the time the 12-year-old’s body was found, two of them had been with their mother for the past two weeks. The man’s 21-year-old son went to the house on October 10 after his father didn’t answer texts and calls and found his brother’s body on the living room floor beneath a blanket.

The boy weighed 54 pounds at the time he died, officials said, and he had several fractures on his arms, legs, and ribs.
