GREEN BAY, Wis. (TCD) —Â We’re nut kidding: A 43-year-old man whose legal name is Deez-Nuts Kroll was arrested last week on suspicion of battery and other charges.
Brown County court records show Kroll was taken into custody March 5 on charges of battery and disorderly conduct with a deadly weapon. He was released on bond the next day under the condition that he remain sober and not make contact with two people who were mentioned only by their initials.
According to WFRV-TV, on March 5 at approximately 10 p.m., Green Bay Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of East Walnut Street for a disturbance and found a shirtless Kroll standing outside. Two people were reportedly put into a squad car and said they had been fighting with Kroll over the phone at around 8 p.m. At 10 p.m., the two people went to the residence and were locked out.
Kroll reportedly opened the door then punched one of the people in the shoulder, which prompted a brawl. WFRV reports Kroll allegedly retrieved a BB gun during the altercation. Officers seized the gun and noted it was loaded with eight BBs.
Kroll spoke with investigators, but was reportedly “talking in circles.”
According to court records, Kroll changed his name from Derrick to Deez-Nuts in 2011.
