Inset: Tocarra Moore (St. Petersburg Police Department). Background: Home in St. Petersburg, Florida, where Moore allegedly poured bleach over her boyfriend”s clothes (Google Maps).
A Florida woman was arrested after she allegedly assaulted her boyfriend and then threw his clothes in a pile before pouring bleach all over them.
Tocarra Moore, 41, stands accused of domestic battery and criminal mischief. The victim said he awoke around 9 a.m. on Monday to find Moore on top of him, striking him on his back at their home in St. Petersburg, according to a probable cause arrest affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime. Cops later found a “visible injury” on his shoulder blade, which they say backed up the assault claim.

The boyfriend stated that he did not call the police but instead left the home to “remove himself from the situation,” the affidavit said. He called his child’s mother to pick him up from the general area. But Moore allegedly tracked them down and confronted them in the parking lot of a Walgreens. While the victim was trying to get between the two women, Moore allegedly pushed him. Surveillance video captured the altercation, cops said.
Moore then went back to her home and removed several items of the victim’s clothing because she thought the victim was cheating on her, cops said. She had one of her children video her as she poured bleach all over the clothing, cops wrote. Moore sent the video to the victim, who showed it to cops, apparently giving them evidence to arrest her for criminal mischief. The clothes were estimated to be between $2,500 and $3,000, according to police.
Cops arrested Moore and took her to the Pinellas County Jail, where she has since posted a $5,500 bond. Her next court date is not listed.
