Nicole Scherzinger can now add Tony Award winner to her long list of accomplishments, and after her recent victory, we imagine at least one Bravoleb was cheering her on: Zack Wickham. She revealed more about her surprisingly close connection to The Valley cast member when she was on Andy Cohen’s radio show back in May.
“He was my assistant,” she shared with the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host — but their relationship goes deeper than that. “He actually was my sister’s best friend growing up in Kentucky, and so I kind of got stuck with Zack—I’m just kidding! So, when he moved to L.A., he needed a job. He was my assistant for many years.”
She added another compliment when she called him “like a little brother” to her. Zack shared the love with the former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls on Instagram, commenting on the interview, “Fam for life. [Nicole] love you!” with a heart.
Nicole Scherzinger reveals Zack Wickham’s lifelong career dream
Nicole gave more insight into Zack’s work ethic and called him “great” as her assistant. “Zack is actually very intelligent, and he thinks fast and on his feet,” she told Andy.
It turns out one of Zack’s biggest career goals from a young age also became a reality. “His big dream was to become a reality TV star…that’s all he talked about 24/7,” she said. “When I heard that it happened, I was over the moon for him.”
She hopes The Valley viewers appreciate her fellow Kentucky native. “I hope they get to see all the good sides of him because he’s very funny, full of life, and he’s got a great effervescent energy,” she added.
What does Zack Wickham do for a living?
After being an executive assistant to Nicole, Zack became a freelance communications and social media expert. He received an undergraduate degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Louisville, according to his LinkedIn profile, and obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bellarmine University.
He recently gave The Daily Dish a career update, saying he now works primarily with celebrities and influencers. “I’ll either do a social media campaign for them, or come up with like the overarching, creative directing [for] a brand deal they have,” he explained.
What’s next for Zack Wickham’s career?
He also shared more on one of his future career goals: start an LGBT organization focused on healthcare. “It’s an education-based charity,” he told The Daily Dish. “That’s like my big goal for let’s say two to three years out—to have it up and running.”
He revealed more on why he’s so passionate about this project. “There’s just so many times that as a person in the LGBT community, we are scared to go to the doctor because we don’t want to get misinformation or don’t wanna be discriminated against,” he said.
He began to tear up when sharing he’s been personally impacted. “That’s been my biggest passion…that I’m just now starting to figure out how to reality and make into a reality,” he added.
