See Who Andy Cohen Kicked Off RHOM Season 7 Reunion Set

Adriana de Moura brought an unexpected plus-one to The Real Housewives of Miami‘s Season 7 reunion — but he got kicked out before the sitdown even got underway.

As if Adriana’s finale performance of “I Love My Dog” didn’t already provide enough evidence of how much her poodle, Basquiat, means to her, she presented Exhibit B on RHOM‘s Reunion Part 1. As she and her castmates arrived on the New York City set, Adriana took her seat with her “emotional support dog” cradled in her arm.

Sadly, host Andy Cohen quickly broke the news that Adriana would have to face her castmates without backup.

“Adriana, they won’t let you keep your pooch on the set,” he announced, immediately prompting Guerdy Abraira to fire back, “Why not?!” 

As Andy explained, “It’s too chaotic.”

Even though Basquiat was instantly escorted backstage, he still managed to be the topic of conversation twice more during RHOM‘s Oct. 2 episode.

First, the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host referenced Basquiat’s humping incident involving Lisa Hochstein during a Season 7 photo shoot, asking Adriana if she or her dog “has a higher sex drive.”

“Basquiat,” Adriana answered, without hesitation, to which Andy admitted, “I mean, Basquiat did pretty well.”

Later, when Julia Lemigova confessed that former bestie Adriana was never “in contention” to be a godmother to her and wife Martina Navratilova’s two adopted sons, Jaxon and Luca, Basquiat’s name entered the chat once again.

“That’s like the deepest dagger in my heart,” Adriana responded, pointing out how she had vouched for Julia and Martina during their adoption process. “I asked you to be the godmother of Basquiat… my baby.”

Andy, meanwhile, questioned if dogs even have godparents.

“I said, if something ever happened to me, I wanted her to take Basqui,” Adriana explained to him. “I love him with all my heart.”

That perceived slight turned out to be symptomatic of some much larger issues looming between Adriana and Julia amid their friendship’s demise, though.

“When Julia and Adriana first met, they were so obsessed with each other, they actually got friend-gaged,” Andy said, before introducing a retrospective video package on the duo’s highs and lows. “But now, shifting friendships have everyone wondering if the honeymoon is officially over.” 

After the clips rolled, the WWHL host asked Adriana if it was “fair” to assume that Julia’s newfound closeness with Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton “was the catalyst for the division” in their friendship.

“I feel like when she started to be friends with Alexia, I was fine with it,” Adriana eventually answered, following some initial interjections from Julia. “Alexia wasn’t instigating Julia, but then, when Marysol got in the picture, Julia transformed herself and she took a… dive on the dark side. And I couldn’t even recognize her anymore.”

As Adriana saw it, there was “something underneath” that was “changing” Julia, or “maybe enabling her to bring her true self out.”

That’s when Andy gave Julia the opportunity to share her side of the story — and she dropped a major bombshell, in the process.

“I would like to say something that will bring clarity, hopefully, on why we are with Adriana where we are,” Julia began, before making the reveal. “In the Hamptons, Adriana and I slept together.”

Though Julia made the allegation about her and Adriana — which seemingly occurred during the RHOM Season 4 cast trip to New York’s Long Island — in the episode’s final moments, viewers at least had the chance to see the stunned cast’s (and Andy’s) eyes bulge and jaws drop, as some even let out shocked gasps.

Unfortunately for Adriana, Basquiat wasn’t there to protect her from the explosive accusation.
