It’s almost like the divorce never happened, and it just feels so good.”

Why did Stacey and Thiemo Rusch break up?
Stacey previously explained during RHOP Season 10 that her and Thiemo’s relationship had “deteriorated,” due, at least in part, to the fact that they had stopped prioritizing one-on-one time in their 16-year marriage after becoming parents.
“We’ve just always prioritized Bella,” Stacey said in an October 2025 episode. “And I think saying that we didn’t necessarily need a date night, we would rather have a family night, and not making sure that we had our own personal time, no wonder our relationship deteriorated.”
When did Stacey and Thiemo Rusch get back together? Â
According to Stacey, she and Thiemo got back together during a 2024 family Christmas vacation to Mexico that they had decided to take “for the sake of” their daughter.
“We were notified that we were, in fact, officially divorced while we were on vacation,” Stacey recalled during Season 10. “We just looked at each other. I think we both knew it wasn’t the end of us. We had to give each other another try.”

Throughout the season, Stacey and Thiemo took a slow approach their reconciliation, as to not “confuse” their daughter as they figured out what their future might look like.
“We aren’t gonna tell Bella anything anytime soon,” Stacey said on The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show, at the time. “We just told her we were getting a divorce. We cried. We sat with her and cried and talked about our divorce and what that meant for our family. I am not going to sit down with her, less than six months later, and say that we’re back together. I would never do that to my child.”

“My happily ever after, part two!” Stacey captioned a pair of Instagram wedding photos on July 11. “Love is everlasting! We renewed our vows we took in 2007 and our hearts our full. The past made us stronger. The future brings us so much joy!”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in an Aug. 4 interview, Stacey added, “I think the second time around is even more special because we realized we simply cannot live without one another. So, to come back together and to also have our daughter be a part of that, it was just an unbelievable blessing. God is good.”
