Monique Samuels is returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac for Season 10. The mom of three was a cast member on RHOP from Seasons 2 through 5, before returning to Season 10 as a friend to the housewives. And the RHOP cast members have a lot of thoughts about this.
Monique can be seen making her big return in the RHOP Season 10 trailer. Although she did not have a whole binder of receipts with her, she was still able to sit down with cast member, Wendy Osefo, after it was revealed that Stacey Rusch was trying to “date” her ex-husband, Chris Samuels. “Yeah, my ex-husband,” Monique said in a voice-over in the trailer. “Like, no, we’re not doing that.”
“The last time I saw you, you had a binder,” Wendy told Monique at a restaurant.
The Daily Dish spoke with several of the RHOP cast members at the Season 10 premiere on Sept. 30, where they shared their reactions to Monique’s big return. Read on to see what they had to say.
Gizelle Bryant was “happy” to welcome Monique Samuels back to RHOP
Gizelle Bryant jokingly referred to Monique as “the fan favorite” when she spoke to The Daily Dish. “Monique, I was happy to see her because she has, per her admission, done a lot of soul searching and changing, and I’m here for all of it,” she stated.

She further dished on Monique’s return during an Oct. 5 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “It was interesting. It was interesting,” she told host Andy Cohen, as seen in the video above. “But I was happy to talk to someone I have history with. It was nice.”
Ashley Darby had a “psychic” feeling Monique Samuels was returning to RHOP
Ashley Darby admitted to The Daily Dish that she was super happy to have Monique back. “It was so good to have Monique back,” she said. “You know, I never wanted her to leave in the first place.”

She even revealed that she predicted Monique’s comeback. “I’ve always told her, ‘Girl, you are coming back,’ time and time again. And she would always say, ‘No, that’s behind me now.’ And then she said, ‘Girl, you know what? You were right.’ And yeah, I am a little psychic, I’ve always known it, and now everyone else knows it too,” she noted.
Wendy Osefo says Monique’s return to RHOP was “so interesting”
Wendy thought that Monique’s return to RHOP was “so interesting.” “For me, I left off at Season 5,” she admitted to The Daily Dish.Â
“I had not seen her or spoken to Monique, so for her to come back, what I enjoyed the most was the fact that we didn’t sugarcoat anything,” she noted. “We made sure to cover all bases, and it was like, ‘So where do we go from here?’ And you guys will see, during the season, where we go, from there.”
