It’s been 16 years since Watch What Happens Live first aired, and Andy Cohen still finds himself surprised from time to time.
He certainly was on the Oct. 2 episode featuring Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Bozoma Saint John, both of whom star in NBC’s On Brand with Jimmy Fallon. As Andy put it, “Great to see you both together … Never thought I’d see Jimmy in the second chair next to a Real Housewife.”
Both guests thanked Andy for the “very roundabout way” he helped them meet. According to Jimmy, his wife, Nancy, counts herself a fan of RHOBH and suggested he take on the “over-qualified” Bozoma as a co-host, someone “who really knows that business” of brand marketing.
The result was Jimmy becoming a bona fide fan of RHOBH. As Jimmy declared, “I’m a student of it now. Love it. I’m into the whole thing.”
But even before his WWHL revelation, Jimmy was never far from Andy. As the Bravo exec noted, Jimmy cooked his famous chili recipe for Andy’s children, 6-year-old son, Benjamin Cohen, and daughter, 3-year-old Lucy Cohen, over the summer. Andy called it “the most unbelievable chili” around and continued to his guests, “By the way, speaking of branding and on brand, Jimmy’s chili? I left for the show tonight, and I said to Ben, ‘Guess who’s on the show?’ I said, ‘Jimmy.’ He goes, ‘Tell. Him. To. Bring. Me. Chili.’”
Jimmy revealed his recipe consisted of “a little” chocolate powder and fish sauce. “But if you don’t know what’s in there, it’s a good secret.”

How Andy Cohen celebrated a Watch What Happens Live milestone
Fast-forward to Oct. 8, when Andy celebrated the talk show’s 3,000th episode, ringing in the incredible milestone with his sole guest, Oscar Award-winning actress Julia Roberts.
There to help Andy bask in the victory was Bravo’s infamous Gay Shark in the clubhouse, ready with a jewel-studded sheet cake boasting sparkly 3-0-0-0 candles. It featured an older WWHL snap of Andy in the host’s chair, surrounded by framed photos of some of Andy’s best on-air moments.
“Gay shark, you’ve given us so much,” Andy said.
