A Below Deck Mediterranean primary guest had only one culinary dish on his mind, and he couldn’t let it go, much to the dismay of chief stew Aesha Scott and chef Josh Bingham. Aesha—who also served Jack Freeman during Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under—warned Josh that the primary was known for his “specific” tastes, and that turned out to be an understatement when Jack made a last-minute demand on Season 10, Episode 4.
Josh had just served up an elaborate eight-course tasting menu of savory items including ajo blanco, curry BBQ lobster with apricot purée, soft shell crab tempura, and wagyu beef tacos. But after the last dishes of crème brûlée had been placed on the table at 1:00 a.m., Josh was thrown for a loop when Jack wanted another word with him.
“Hang on, we have a bit of a request,” Jack said in the Oct. 20 episode. “We’ll have a little chicken.”
Josh, who all night long had been comparing his dishes to songs, and his eight-course meal to a concert, was stunned. “I’m sorry, what? The concert’s over. The lights are on. Everybody’s walking to their cars,” he exclaimed in his confessional interview. “I’m not playing you another f—king song.”
Even though his fellow guests were protesting, Jack persisted in his request, adding, “Just a little Sichuan chicken. Just a little chicken.”
Josh finally asked Aesha for help in navigating the tricky situation, saying to her, “I don’t know what to do here.” He then said to Jack, “Jack, you realize that was eight courses.” Guest Tayla could also be heard pointing out to Jack that he couldn’t even finish his crème brûlée and telling him to “go to sleep.” Still, Jack repeated he wanted “just a little chicken.”
Below Deck Med guest Jack Freeman makes repeated request of the crew
If Jack’s request sounded like déjà vu, that’s because he’d made the exact same late-night snack demand just one night earlier to stewardess Kizzi Kitchener. “I really need a Sichuan chicken,” Jack told Kizzi in the Oct. 13 episode.
The previous night, Josh was already in bed, and Kizzi admitted she didn’t “even know what Sichuan chicken is.” Although she and deckhand Christian Trimino looked up the recipe, bosun Nathan Gallagher refused to let them cook unsupervised.

Kizzi shared her theory at the time for why Jack was so focused on Sichuan chicken. “I honestly don’t even think he wants Sichuan chicken,” she argued in her confessional interview. “He wants to see me jump through hoops and do backflips. I love going above and beyond. I will do it.”
Kizzi decided to appease Jack by serving him “chili con carne” made of leftover crew chili, but by the time she brought the food to his room, he was already asleep.
Aesha had a similar thought in the Oct. 20 episode, and brought Jack truffled parmesean fries instead of the Sichuan chicken—and once again, Jack left the food untouched, declaring, “I’m not even hungry anymore.”
Charter guest breaks major safety rule on Below Deck Med
Jack didn’t just give the Bravado crew trouble in the galley during his stay, he also broke a major safety rule under the watchful eyes of the deck team. Jack made yet another “specific” request of both Kizzi and Christian in the Oct. 20 episode, this time to swim in the ocean. Although Nathan had said no to any guests in the water, Christian agreed under the condition of “just the feet.”
Cameras captured Jack standing on the swim platform at the rear of the yacht as it bobbed and moved in the swift swells.

“It’s actually quite wobbly,” he commeted as the swells pushed the platform around. Although Christian ordered Jack to “sit down,” Jack slipped and fell into the ocean. Nathan, who saw it all go down on the crew mess monitors, rushed out to help. Fortunately, Jack was unharmed.
ICYMI, Captain Sandy Yawn spilled more details about what it’s like to live around Aesha on Bravado.
