Los Angeles, California – Chappell Roan made a surprise guest appearance at the Rose Bowl Stadium alongside Noah Kahan for his biggest headlining show yet.

On Saturday, the duo performed Chappell’s acoustic song California – from her 2023 debut record, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess – for the sold-out Pasadena show.
Per Billboard, over 56,000 fans crowded into the venue for Noah’s The Great Divide World Tour.
“I remember playing at Troubadour and being happy if that was the rest of my career,” the Stick Season singer said of the 500-people capacity space.

“I’m grateful as f**k to be here with y’all.”
He jokingly spoke to “God” early in his 27-song set to tease Chappell’s cameo.
“Hello, God?” he asked into a receiver.
“Oh, you think because it’s my biggest headline show ever that at some point I should bring out a super special guest?”
Chappell Roan then took to the stage later on, giving the headliner a fist bump before saying that “Noah always stands up for me, seriously… He’s a good person, for real.”
Noah had some complimenting to do as well, however.
“This is the first song I ever heard of Kayleigh’s (Chappell’s real first name) and the reason I fell in love with her music,” he said. “I’m just really proud of her and thankful that she would come sing with me. So this is California.”
