A New York state man has been charged with the murder of his wife, whose body was found Tuesday after she was reported missing on Sunday.
Police say Chloe Henry, 25, was last seen with 33-year-old Keith Henry and was reported missing around 3 p.m. on Sunday, according to New York State Police. Police say they believe Keith Henry shot his wife in his car in the town of Peru and then drove her body to Chazy, nearly 30 miles away, where she was found at the Lake Alice Wildlife Management Area on Tuesday.
He has been charged with second degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
He pleaded not guilty in court and was remanded to jail without bond. A grand jury is now considering the case, WPTZ reported.
Further details were not made available, but posts on social media indicated Chloe Henry was the mother of two young children.
