It was so nice, she ordered it twice! Mary Cosby isn’t holding back her thoughts after devouring Below Deck Down Under chef Ben Robinson’s cuisine during the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6’s crossover trip aboard the motor yacht Katina, admitting she ordered two dinners.
“The food was so good. It was so good,” she gushed during the Bravo HQ interview above. “It tastes like a personal chef. It had that taste, you know? Like, I requested, and I ordered, and he knew me. He knew what to fix for me and he did it. And that’s how it tasted.”
That’s high praise from the housewife that Whitney Rose called “the bougiest one out of all of us” in the Oct. 21 episode. Mary’s elaborate preference sheet requests for the charter included 2003 Dom Perignon, which she added to her list three times. “My yacht vibe is pure luxury,” Mary added.
During Episode 7, chief stew Daisy Kelliher checked in with Mary personally about the menu before dinner was served, asking, “I saw that you don’t eat shrimp. The chef is making panko-crusted wahoo. Would you eat that?” Mary gave her consent, and was happy to be consulted.
Mary Cosby opens up about her unique Below Deck Down Under dinner experience on RHOSLC
Mary and Angie Katsanevas, who were sharing a room aboard Katina’s trip around Canouan island in the Grenadines, decided to stay in their quarters for the first dinner, due to Angie’s seasickness. Mary, who stayed back to support Angie, admitted there was a bonus to being served in bed: “I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m so glad I didn’t have to be upstairs fighting.”

As Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow and the other ‘Wives got into a massive argument at the table, Mary audibly crunched her food while laying in bed next to Angie and pronounced, “Mmmmm—I’ve been blessed.” Angie responded, “You are blessed. Eating in peace.” Mary paid Ben another compliment when she added, “I hope they appreciate this food up there.”
When new Season 4 BDDU cast member Mike Durrant appeared at their door with a “deconstructed” cheesecake for Mary, she motioned upstairs and commented, “They are buck-wild up there.”
Mike asked if they were too loud, but Mary assured him it was fine—and proceeded to eat every crumb of cheesecake.
Angie Katsanevas shares unseen details about how Jason Chambers helped her on RHOSLC
While Mary was busy eating chef Ben’s delicious food, Angie was busy getting extra attention from one particular member of the Katina crew: Captain Jason Chambers.
“Captain Jason was coming in and bringing me soup, bringing me tea, bringing me ginger,” Angie shared in a Bravo HQ interview. “He tried everything and nothing was making me feel better except his visits. I really felt like I was in a five-star hospital. It was like the good doctor was in the house. He was so kind.”
Cameras captured Captain Jason laying ice packs around Angie’s body in the Oct. 28 episode.

“I laugh because I had my eyes closed, and I just could not have felt less attractive, laying there in my big boat pajamas, and smelling like I’d been throwing up for 24 hours,” Angie admitted in the Bravo HQ interview. “And I look up, and he’s now switched from his white day shirt. And I open my eyes and he’s standing there in a black shirt with the gold patches.”
She added, “I thought, like, ‘Did I die and go to heaven? Is this an icon? What am I looking at? What’s happening?’ But his visits definitely made me feel better. He was just very sweet and kind and compassionate.”
