Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke reunited… sort of.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills moms had a run-in last month during the AFI Fest red carpet premiere of Song Sung Blue, a musical drama starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Videos and photos from the event showed Sutton posing for photographers outside the TCL Chinese Theatre. And who was standing just several feet away? That’s right, her former bestie Garcelle.

Sutton stepped out in a sleek, tailored pantsuit paired with a lacey top and open-toe sequin heels that matched her shimmery clutch. Garcelle attended the event in a deep red maxi dress featuring a black one-shoulder panel and black trim. She finished the ensemble with a pair of glittery, pointed-toe boots.
While the ladies looked absolutely stunning, an awkward cloud loomed over the red carpet moment. The premiere event went down just days after fans received more insight into Sutton and Garcelle’s relationship — or lack thereof. The latter touched on the topic during an interview with Variety, claiming she had not spoken to Sutton since filming the RHOBH Season 14 reunion in late February.

Garcelle Beauvais says her & Sutton Stracke’s friendship is “completely over”
The three-part reunion special kicked off on April 1, shortly after Garcelle confirmed she was exiting the series. She told fans there were two big reasons behind the decision: 1) She wanted to spend more time with her twin sons, Jax and Jaid Nilon, as they prepared to graduate high school; and 2) She had a lot of exciting TV and film projects on deck.

It was later revealed that Garcelle had unfollowed the majority of the RHOBH cast, including her once-close friend Sutton. Garcelle addressed the fallout during her October 23 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, explaining why she ultimately cut ties with the boutique owner.
“Would you say your friendship with Sutton is completely over?” host Andy Cohen asked.
“Yes,” Garcelle responded. “She didn’t have my back [at the reunion]… also, when she called me, never took accountability for it. And that hurt my feelings a lot.”

Garcelle acknowledged that she and Sutton were “really close” at one point, so much so that her kids would even call Sutton from time to time.
“I look back on it fondly,” she said about the friendship. “You know, we had some really good laughs. We were there for each other, mostly me there for her. But I don’t regret it. I don’t regret it.”
