Washington DC – Amazon MGM recently unveiled the first trailer and new details about the company’s upcoming docuseries about First Lady Melania Trump.
In a press release shared on Friday, Amazon promised the new show, titled Melania the series, will take viewers “beyond what they have already seen, with content never before shared with the public.”
The company also shared its first-ever trailer for the series, which features clips of Melania shaking hands with world leaders and describing her son Barron as her “priority.”
The series, which will release on November 20, follows the release of the Melania theatrical film released in February, which followed the first lady in the days before her husband Donald Trump’s 2025 presidential inauguration.

The film has been considered an overwhelming flop as it only managed to pull in $16 million dollars against the more than $40 million Amazon spent to produce it.
The press release says the series will be comprised of two episodes. The first, titled Family & Trust, will follow Melania as she prepares to become first lady, which forces her to “protect those closest to her while navigating the demands of power.”
The second, titled Pride & Honor, will explore the “call to action” her role brings and her “mission” for the American people.
In a statement to The Washington Post, an Amazon spokesperson said the original licensing deal for the documentary also covered the new series.
