Questions Loom Following Untimely Death of Texas A&M Cheerleader – Crime Online

The mother of a Texas A&M University student, Brianna Aguilera, believes foul play is involved in her untimely death.

According to MySA, officers with the Austin Police Department arrived at the 21 Rio Apartments on Saturday, following a call regarding an unresponsive female.

Ten minutes after arriving, first responders pronounced Aguilera dead at the scene.

“At this time, the incident is not being investigated as a homicide, and there are no indications of suspicious circumstances,” police said in a statement.

Aguilera’s mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, said on Facebook that her daughter’s death was not accidental.

“This was not accidental. Someone killed my Brie and gave all the group of friends a lot of time to come up with the same story,” Rodriguez wrote on Facebook.

“My daughter would not jump 17 stories from a building and to be labeling this as a suicide is insane.”

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe fundraiser set up by the family that Aguilera, a graduated magna cum laude from United High School, attended the UT vs. Texas A&M tailgate event Friday.

According to ABC 7, police told Rodriguez that underage people were being served alcohol.

Rodriguez reportedly said her daughter ended up at a friend’s apartment with multiple other people, when an argument reportedly started.

“What was weird to me and skeptical was her phone was on Do Not Disturb. We always had this rule that if she was going to go out, she had to have her phone on ‘location on’ and answer her text to at least let me know she was ok,” Stephanie Rodriguez told KGNS.

Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office is in the process of completing an autopsy and toxicology report to determine her cause of death.

The investigation continues. Check back for updates.
