Dayna Kathan has been living the best days of her life since her time on Vanderpump Rules. The VPR alum, podcast host, and content creator only appeared on VPR for one season back in Season 8, but has continued to thrive alongside her BFF and podcast co-host, Katie Maloney.
Dayna took to her TikTok account on Dec. 30, where she recapped and reflected on the past year of her life. In the video, Dayna captured clips of her cat, Laszlo, walking around her apartment; getting her makeup done; hanging out with friends; attending music festivals and concerts with Katie; going to Medieval Times; traveling the world; recording her podcast; and spending so much time with her family.
“Blink and you’ll miss it,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Thank you 2025 for the gifts and the lessons.”
Dayna’s friends then took to the comments of the post, where they remarked on Dayna’s whirlwind year. “Content queen,” Ariana Madix wrote.
“I’m ready for a return to Medieval Times,” Katie’s boyfriend, Nick Martin, added.

Dayna has not publicly stated whether or not she is dating anyone on her social media accounts as of late. She did, however, open up about her dating life during a January 2024 appearance on The Viall Files. “The landscape right now is brutal for dating, right,” she said. “It has changed a lot even in the time that I’ve been single, but something about being in your 30s, like I’ve never been more sure about who I am and my bandwidth for bulls—t is non-existent. I just don’t have a threshold for things I used to put up with, so even though it’s scary out there, it’s easier for me to deal with than it’s ever been.”

Back in 2020, Dayna discussed her late mother, Julia, on a Vanderpump Rules episode, during her stand up comedy performance. Dayna opened up about the way her passing changed her life. Afterwards, she posted about the loss on Instagram, “I love you, mom… When you lose the most important person in your world so young and in such a brutal way it changes you forever. I am stoked for people to get a glimpse of the warrior/legend/real one that I was lucky enough to call mom, who spent her life pouring every ounce of love she had into her sister and me. There was no one I was more protective of, loved harder, or felt more seen by.”
Dayna’s sister later named her daughter after their mom.

Dayna opened up about her future during that same Reddit AMA post in May. She admitted that she wants to see herself “happy and loving my best life” in the “next five years.”
“Down for something in media but not in a show like VPR,” she wrote. “I want to be a force of good in the world and empower others, not sure what that looks like yet but our podcast is a great start.”
