Teen Pummels Elderly Driver in Road Rage Incident – Crime Online

A Wisconsin teen beat an 81-year-old man senseless in a road rage incident in October that began because the 19-year-old thought the elderly victim was driving too slowly.

Oliver McSorley began tailgating the victim, who told police he purposely slowed down, WISN reported. McSorley then “aggressively” passed the victim and abruptly cut back in front of him.

The victim said he tapped McSorley’s bumper when he caught up to him at a light, and McSorley pulled over. The victim also pulled over, and the two argued before he pushed McSorley and the younger man  pummeled him to the ground before bystanders intervened.

McSorley drove off but later turned himself in.  While in jail, he spoke with his mother on the phone, telling her he wished “I would have beaten him to a pulp.”

“I should have beaten the s*** out of him … he is lucky he only has a concussion,” McSorley said in the recorded jail phone call, The Freeman reported. “I could’ve literally beat him to an inch of his life.”

The victim had blood coming from both ears and an eye, numerous cuts and bruises, and a concussion.

McSorley’s only criminal record was a traffic fine in March for driving 106 mph.

He was charged on Tuesday with a felony count of battery to an elderly person and ordered back in court on February 5 after he was released, WISN reported.
