Teresa Giudice has bid farewell to her “porcelain doll,” Gabriella Giudice.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared the emotional goodbye on Tuesday, January 6, as her second-eldest daughter began packing her bags for Europe. But this wasn’t another vacation for Gabriella; the University of Michigan junior will reside in Spain for the next three months as part of her school’s study abroad program.

“My Gabriella is leaving me. She’s going to Barcelona. I love you,” Teresa said in a video, which captured her daughter loading items into a suitcase. “Going to miss you so much.”
Teresa returned to the platform several minutes later, posting footage of her other daughter Milania Giudice looking teary-eyed as her big sister prepared to leave.
“Milania’s crying. She’s gonna miss Gabriella,” Teresa said.

Milania also posted a TikTok video of Gabriella’s final moments at home. She filmed Gabriella’s packing process, as Teresa and her youngest sister, Audriana Giudice, watched on.
“I’m terrible at goodbyes,” Milania captioned the video. “We love you gabriella your gonna have the time of your life!!!”

Teresa confirmed Garbiella’s study abroad plans back in October, when she visited the UMich campus for Family Weekend.
“I cannot believe she’s a junior,” Teresa said during Michigan’s football game against the Washington Huskies. “She’s leaving me in January and going to Barcelona, but I’m just gonna have to visit you.”
“Exactly,” Gabriella responded.

Although Gabriella is expected to earn her economics degree in 2027, she plans to continue her higher education journey by earning another degree in accounting. Teresa confirmed this during an interview at BravoCon 2025, saying she fully supported her daughter’s decision.

“Gabriella is doing amazing, and she’s at the University of Michigan,” she told The Daily Dish. “Gabriella told me she wants to go… she said, ‘Mommy, I’m sorry to tell you, but you’re gonna have to pay a little bit more for college,’ because she wants to be an accountant.
“So I’m like, ‘OK… no problem,’” Teresa continued. “I’m like, ‘I don’t care about that. I’ll work as hard as I have to, you know?’ I love that she loves to go to school. I know she’s gonna be so successful when she gets older. I mean, now she is older, but when she graduates, embarks on the career journey.”
