After stewardess Kizzi Kitchener injured herself aboard M/Y Bravado during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10, her return to the super yacht remained up in the air. However, the question of if she’ll finish the season is answered within moments of the first look at Episode 18 (airing Monday, Jan. 26).
“I’m back, baby!” she announces in her confessional interview during the season finale. But, it isn’t smooth sailing as far as her stewardess duties go, because Kizzi also reveals she “fractured her foot.”
Kizzi had hinted that her injury was serious during Episode 17 after Captain Sandy Yawn sent her off the boat to go to the hospital. At that time, Kizzi texted chief stew Aesha Scott with an update reading, “They did an x-ray. I’m getting a brace soon and will be back.”
But then Aesha’s worst fears are confirmed during the first look as she receives another text update from her second stew with more of the doctor’s orders.“‘You need boot and crutches and no use of your foot,’” Aesha reads out loud, and then mutters to herself, “Are you joking?”
After bosun Nathan Gallagher sends lead deckhand Joe Bradley to go pick Kizzi up in the tender and bring her back on board, Kizzi is seen wearing her boot and carrying crutches on the dock. Exactly how much work she can handle is till TBD by the end of the first look.
“Oh f—king s—t. I really wish that we didn’t have such high maintenance charter guests,” Aesha had previously complained to producers. “If Kizzi can’t work, we’ll just have to like, survive.”
How did Kizzi Kitchener get injured on Below Deck Mediterranean?
In case you need a refresher, Kizzi’s foot injury happened just before the final charter guests of the season joined on Episode 17.
“I accidentally kicked something,” Kizzi informed Aesha, and producers showed Kizzi running near the galley, striking a trash can with her foot, and yelling out in pain.
Kizzi tried to power through, but complained about her toe throughout the first day and night of charter. Then producers showed Kizzi tossing and turning in her bunk, and getting up to ice her foot in the middle of the night. She told Aesha the next morning, “At 3:30 [a.m.], I woke up, and I was like, ‘F—k, it really hurts.’”
Captain Sandy checked out Kizzi’s foot in the bridge, and was concerned. “Oh my god, yes! It’s very swollen. You need an x-ray,” she ordered.
Kizzi Kitchener and Joe Bradley hint at a hookup on the Below Deck Med Season 10 finale
Romantic tension has been simmering between Kizzi and Joe all of Season 10, and with the end of the charter season on the horizon, and the return of Kizzi to the yacht, both hint at finally acting on their feelings during the first look of the season finale.
While at the doctor, Kizzi texts Joe a picture of her fractured foot, and writes, “Is this a sexy toe or what…” Joe texts back with a suggestive question that reads: “Would you like me to kiss it and make it better?”

At the end of the previous episode, she also sent him a text reading, “My toe’s gonna be fine!” But then she added, “I was stressing we wouldn’t get one last night together” and added a winking face emoji.
It comes on the heels of Joe and Kizzi sharing a kiss during Episode 12, while he was in a boatmance with deckhand Victoria “V” SanJuan. Although V and Joe later ended their relationship, Nathan warned Joe to “keep it in [his] f—king trousers” around Kizzi, and stop flirting in front of V.
For her part, Kizzi looks to have no intention of backing off from Joe. “The doctor did tell me when I was at the hospital, he said, ‘Someone needs to give her a kiss on the lips or she might die,’” she jokes to producers during the first look. In a singsong voice she adds, “My prescription!”

When Nathan orders Joe to pick up Kizzi in the tender, Joe responds on the radio, “I can’t wait.” Although Nathan responds, “Behave,” the conversation was overheard by V, who mutters to herself, “So mature.”
Later, as Joe helps Kizzi get from the tender to the swim platform, she falls onto him and they both land in a heap on top of each other. V is distraught by their behavior, and jokes to producers, “I’m trying not to give them hos the satisfaction, no!” In a more serious tone, she adds, “But like, I might lose it eventually.”
ICYMI, stewardess Cathy Skinner recently gave an update on her own boatmance with deckhand Max Salvador, and revealed more on where they stand today.
