FBI Offers $10K Reward for Missing 63-Year-Old Indigenous Woman – Crime Online

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for a 63-year-old Nevada woman who hasn’t been seen in over a year.

According to KTVB 7, Besalynn “Bessy” Mary James was last seen January 20, 2025, at her residence on the Lummi Nation Indian Reservation in Bellingham, Washington.

Police believe James could possibly be in Idaho, but she also has ties to Sacramento, California, and Nyssa, Oregon, according to the FBI.

The Seattle Times reports that James left her belongings behind, along with her dogs. Police stated she usually never leaves home without her pets.

James is described as standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and the word “Bes” tattooed on her arm. She was last seen wearing a black jacket.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the FBI’s Toll-Free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the FBI’s Seattle Field Office at (206) 622-0460.
