Amanda Batula is shedding new light on her bombshell claim about Kyle Cooke sleeping at a fan’s apartment, as was first teased in Summer House‘s Season 10 trailer.
When Amanda met up with Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard in NYC during Season 10, Episode 2, she was stunned to learn that Kyle had still been discussing their marital issues behind her back. Lindsay, meanwhile, pointed out that Kyle seemed to feel “really alone in the relationship,” prompting Amanda to reply, “Which is fair, but there’s a reason why he feels that way.”
Amanda went on to explain how Kyle’s new DJ career had caused major conflicts in their marriage.
“There’s a part of me that’s really happy that he’s found this creative outlet of, like, DJ’ing,” she said. “But there’s another part of me that’s pissed off that the two things I’ve asked him to change about himself for years are his drinking and his going out late. The career he chose was, like, to do two things that I’ve been asking him to change forever.”

What’s more, Kyle’s late-night gigs that she said often preceded him “partying” into the early morning hours had led to “constant rumors” about his behavior, according to Amanda. One incident from around February 2025 had particularly stood out to her.
During the debrief with her castmates, which took place several months before Amanda and Kyle announced their split, she recalled, “He went out with his brother; his brother went home; Kyle fell asleep at some, like, fan’s apartment that was having a house party and came home at, like, 6:30 in the morning.”
As Amanda concluded, “It’s been like 10 years of some of this s–t. Like, I can’t be doing this forever. Or he can’t be doing this forever, and I can’t be putting up with it forever.”

Kyle, meanwhile, had a sit-down with Carl Radke in Brooklyn, during which he explained that he had begun professionally DJ’ing partly out of financial necessity. As he told it, he had to invest $500,000 in Loverboy, in order “to save” his alcohol brand, in addition to not paying himself a salary throughout the previous nine months.

“So, that’s one of the reasons I started DJ’ing, to pay the bills,” Kyle told Carl.
In a confessional, he elaborated, “I used to incur costs traveling for Loverboy; now I’m getting paid. I get that I decided to travel a lot and DJ, and I get that I work a lot, but when I do make an effort with Amanda, I don’t really feel like it’s reciprocated. And it’s eating me alive.”
Back in Carl’s apartment, Kyle further correlated his professional stresses to his issues with Amanda.
“We’re not, like, on the brink of collapse. Like, I adore her, I love her, I can’t even imagine my life without her,” he insisted. “But I think what is messing with my head is just, like, the way she talks about the status quo. She still pushes a lot of responsibility of our issues on me. It’s like, ‘Oh, look at Kyle, he’s just, like, drunk and DJ’ing and traveling.”
Kyle added, “It kind of gets reduced down to something that is not recognizable as to what’s actually going on, but I’m not gonna sit there and correct her.”

Though Kyle has yet to directly address Amanda’s revelation about him falling asleep at a fan’s apartment on Summer House Season 10, he has publicly responded in the press.
“There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” he clarified in a December 2025 interview with People. “I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party.”
As Kyle explained to the outlet, he “ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m.”
“Do I regret the situation? Absolutely,” he added. “But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”
