The Real Housewives of Potomac alum Candiace Dillard Bassett recently debuted one head-turning hair makeover that makes a strong argument that maybe blondes really do have more fun.
The mom of one showed off her stunning, short platinum-blonde bob when she joined a bunch of other Bravolebs for the Super Bowl LX Reality Hot Seat Sailgate as seen in a Feb. 8 reel of Candiace from the event, as posted on Bravo’s official Instagram page. Wearing a black-and-white striped, referee-themed minidress with a massive yellow bow in the back and the words “Throwing shade” on the inside of the arm, Candiace lip-synced the chorus to “That’s the Way (I Like It),” per an accompanying remix.
It was hardly the first time Candiace, who is most recently on Season 4 of Peacock’s The Traitors, was spotted out and about with the dramatic and fun ‘do. Days before, she made the press rounds rocking the look from radio appearances (yes, with a super cute furry hat) to the Bravo Clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (photos below).

Candiace is no stranger to sporting a variety of hairstyles over her six seasons on RHOP, from short and light looks to waist-length micro-braids. In fact, of her many career accolades, she is also the proud founder of the Prima Hair Collection featuring wigs and hair bundles.

It was around this time last year, on a January 2025 episode of the Double Dose podcast, she explained her intentional decision to let her hair revert to “its natural state” on RHOP, calling the decision “a risk” and “a journey.”
“I knew that, if I were to be brave enough to wear my hair that way on camera, and rock it and embrace it, that it was a silent message to women and girls who look like me,” she said. “So much of my existence on that show was me dog-whistling and loudly proclaiming to women who look like me, because there weren’t a lot of them before I got there, and I took that responsibility very seriously. I tried my best to represent us well.”

In January 2025, Candiace shared a look at her haircare routine for her first at-home weave removal since giving birth to her son, Jett Maxwell Lee Bassett, several months earlier. With her sister’s help, she removed Kulali Indian Curly bundles (straight from the Prima Hair Collection), which had been placed there by her personal hairstylist, Stephanie Harris.

“I’m just so sad because look at how pretty these curls are,” Candiace told her followers. “This is blown out, processed with color — shoutout to Steph, the hair queen; she did the color, custom color… I’m so sad to take this out. This has been in since before I gave birth, so before October 3. And this is the second or third install with this hair.”
