Los Angeles, California – Olivia Rodrigo has reunited with her former opening act and fellow pop star Chappell Roan for a special remix of one of her newest hits!
The 23-year-old confirmed swirling rumors of a Chappell collab on Tuesday, revealing that the Pink Pony Club artist will be featured on a remix of expectations – a song from her latest record, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.
“beyond excited to announce ‘expectations’ featuring @ChappellRoan !!! song and video out Thursday!!!!” Olivia wrote on social media.
The post featured a snap of the singers in 80s-esque glam, complete with poofy hair, large bows, and tulle skirts as they posed inside of a convertible car.

Olivia first teased a new track with an audio snippet that featured Chappell saying, “Oh, Olivia does remixes now.”
The drop dead artist has been a longtime supporter of the 28-year-old, even before her meteoric rise to pop stardom in 2024. Olivia tapped Chappell to serve as an opening act on both her SOUR Tour and GUTS World Tour in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
Chappell recently returned to the stage as one of the performers on Olivia’s Daisy Chain Fields music festival, an all-female event curated by Olivia herself that raised a whopping $20 million for nonprofits benefiting women and girls.
