Vanderpump Rules boss Lisa Vanderpump does not keep in touch with many people from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But the restaurateur does still keep in touch with one fellow RHOBH alum today. And that is Garcelle Beauvais.
Lisa recently spoke with Extra earlier this week, where she admitted she speaks to “none” of the RHOBH cast members or alums. “Well, except Garcelle,” she said.
“Garcelle and I are close,” Lisa, who was not on RHOBHÂ at the same time as Garcelle but became friends after, continued. “She is very supportive of me and vice versa. I love her dearly.”
How did Lisa Vanderpump and Garcelle Beauvais become friends?
Garcelle told The Daily Dish in 2022 that she first met Lisa when she was putting on a fundraiser in West Hollywood in October 2021. “She was actually putting on an event for Haiti at TomTom. Yeah, and so I got to meet her,” she explained. “There was Haitian music blaring. There were more Haitians than I knew in California that night there. So I just fell in love with what she was doing.”

Garcelle continued, admitting that her friendship with Lisa was “organic.” Plus, she revealed that they don’t talk about RHOBH when they’re together. “We don’t even talk about Housewives her and I,” Garcelle told The Daily Dish. “She’s not on the show. What’s there to talk about?”
It also helps that Lisa hired Garcelle’s oldest son, Oliver Saunders, and got him a job at her Las Vegas establishment, Vanderpump à Paris.

Lisa spoke with Us Weekly in Feb. 2025, where she opened up about her appreciation for Garcelle. “I love Garcelle,” Lisa said. “I actually think she’s probably one of the only ones I would have anything in common with. I think she’s a really hard working, down to earth woman, and I have a lot of respect for her.”
She then reacted to Garcelle’s departure from RHOBH in a conversation with TMZ in April 2025. “Oh, she’s a wonderful woman. I’m sure she’s moving on to other things,” Lisa told the publication at the time. “It kind of served her well and I wish her lots of luck.”
