The drama kept unfolding after the Southern Hospitality cameras went down following the Season 3 reunion. In the Southern Hospitality Season 4 premiere, Bradley Carter and TJ Dinch revealed the shocking chain of events that occurred at the New York City hotel immediately following the taping.
“As soon as we get off the elevator doors, we hear a loud voice coming through the wall,” Bradley explained to producers during the Season 4 premiere. “And it becomes more and more clear that this is Emmy [Sharrett] talking.”
TJ claimed to producers he heard Emmy “laughing” with her fiancé, Will Kulp, and with her mother, who was on the phone. “She said, ‘F—k TJ. F—k Brad. They’re dead to me,’” TJ revealed.
Bradley said Emmy’s words “cut so deep” that he responded with a friendship-ending text: “I said, ‘Lower your f—king voice you’re dead to me too b—h. You’d be dumb to think WE didn’t hear everything you, your mom and will just said :).’”

During the March 4 premiere, Brad explained more about what led to his falling out with Emmy. After the reunion taping, “I thought there was room for Emmy and me to rebuild a friendship,” he began, but overhearing her words at the hotel was the nail in the coffin.
Brad admitted his role in the Season 3 rumor that Will was cheating on Emmy undoubtedly contributed to the demise of their friendship.
“Because I looked into seeing if Will cheated or not, I’m the villain in Emmy’s story,” Brad said in his confessional. “I think the thing that hurts the most is that this is coming from someone I called a close friend. This is someone that I really, really loved and cared for. So, for her to paint me out to be something that I’m not is excruciating.”
Adding more fuel to the fire: Ahead of the reunion taping, Emmy told Maddi Reese that Brad had fabricated the rumor that her ex-boyfriend, Trevor Stokes, had cheated on her.
“I feel terrible for lying about Maddi’s ex-boyfriend cheating on her, but I apologized to Maddi at the reunion. So, we’re good,” Bradley thought after the reunion. That was until he overheard Emmy recap the reunion to Will: “‘We definitely played them… I fed Maddi that information to make anything Brad said not reliable,’” Brad recalled Emmy saying through the hotel door.
TJ also claimed he overheard Emmy admitting to lies. After Emmy told Andy Cohen at the reunion that Will was skipping the taping to protect his mental health, TJ accused Emmy of admitting the truth to Will behind closed doors. “‘They believed everything that I said out there… I said it so many times to make sure that you couldn’t get in trouble for not showing up,’” TJ said he heard Emmy tell Will.

Bradley Carter reveals how Emmy Sharrett helped him connect with his new girlfriend
During the March 4 episode, Bradley revealed that Emmy helped start his relationship with his new girlfriend, Julia.
“I mean, ironically, I have to thank Emmy. Emmy encouraged Julia to like, ‘Hey, you should go out with Brad. Like, see what he’s about,’” he told producers. “She was rooting for me.”
“It’s crazy how much hate that Emmy has for me now. Literally, less than 12 months ago, she was my biggest hype man,” he added.

Emmy agreed that her friendship with Bradley and TJ has changed dramatically. “Since New York, I do not talk to TJ and Brad at all, and it’s sad,” Emmy told producers during the episode. “TJ was just, you know, my gay best friend, and Brad was like this big brother to me. Like, I definitely miss them, but it’s like, show your true colors motherf—kers.”
