Aesha Scott is fresh off her honeymoon, and she is sharing some major details about her March 7 wedding to her husband, Scotty Dobson. The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 chief stew took to social media following their trip to Queenstown, New Zealand, where she opened up about being a married woman.
Aesha took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she admitted that “it feels so good” to be married to her longtime love. “Everyone would say to us, you know, it feels different when you get married, and it’s hard for them to explain, and they don’t know why. And we were like, ‘Oh yeah, I wonder if that’ll happen for us.’ And we both said that when we were down in Queenstown, it does feel so different,” she admitted.
She continued, revealing that they had so much fun at their wedding. “There’s something that feels so special about it, and you just feel more deeply bonded and such a team, and we’re both still on such a high,” she said. “I am just feeling so grateful and content….and the day, the whole weekend was just absolutely perfect. And I think when a day is so built up like that…it leaves so much room for disappointment. That’s so much pressure to put on a day.”

Aesha and Scott said “I do” at a venue located near their hometown of Tauranga, New Zealand, according to PEOPLE. Aesha’s wedding to Scotty was filled with so many personal details that were so special to them. Aesha wore a custom two-piece dress designed by LVR Bridal, before changing into a second look, which incorporated the same top from her first look, but with a shorter skirt. Guests dined on Thai food, served family-style, before getting to choose between cookies and cupcakes for dessert.
And when it came time for their first dance, they chose to dance to Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One,” which Aesha told the publication perfectly sums up their relationship. “This song makes me bawl because the lyrics in the first verse are about how unlikely it is they would say together, but they’re still holding on. This is similar to us,” she said. “We’ve had a very unique relationship with how much I travel for work and how much time we spend apart, but look at us, we made it.”

Aesha admitted in her Instagram Story from over the weekend that the guests who attended the event made their wedding special. “But it was just perfect, like, we both said that we would not change one thing, and I think the biggest standout for us, apart from marrying each other, is how grateful we are just to have the most incredible people in our lives. It was just the best energy running through the whole weekend,” she noted. “Everyone put so much effort and love into celebrating our love, and oh, the whole thing was just magic.”
