These days, Margo Stiley is one of the Ladies of London: The New Reign cast members, mixing it up and living a fabulous life across the pond. But before sharing her life on Ladies of London: The New Reign, Margo was living her best life down south. In fact, the South Carolina native does have ties to Southern Charm‘s very own Whitney Sudler-Smith. And now, she’s spilling all about it in an exclusive chat with BravoTV.com. And, yes, Margo is clearing the air on whether they ever dated in the past.
“I know Whitney from Southern Charm. He’s a friend of mine,” she said in the video above. “Whitney likes to tell people that I broke his heart. We never dated, and I couldn’t have broken his heart, but I do appreciate it.”
As it turns out, she also recently revealed that she could have appeared on Bravo before Ladies of London came calling. She shared that back in the day, she crossed paths with Whitney during the early days of Southern Charm. Whitney, of course, is the creator and Executive Producer on Southern Charm, and thought she might be a good fit for the series.
Margo was on hand with her castmates at the Ladies of London screening event in NYC at Fouquet’s New York in March, where she spilled all about it. “I’m from South Carolina, and when Whitney was in London, we met. And then when I was home, I went to Charleston and hung out with him and Patricia [Altschul], and he was like, ‘We’re putting together this new Bravo show. You should be on it.’ And I was like, ‘But I don’t even have an accent anymore.’ So I was in London and didn’t do it,” she said, and Whitney later shared the moment from the event on his Instagram Stories.

Margo shared more about this when chatting with The Daily Dish in a previous interview. “We met in London, at a dinner, and we connected because we’re both from South Carolina,” Margo explained. “And then we reconnected in South Carolina, which was super fun because it’s not that common that you have, like, very international people back home. And yeah, he actually invited me to join the cast of Southern Charm, but I was busy living in London, so I wasn’t able to join.”
