Sutton Stracke is showing off the special diamond jewelry piece she had made in honor of a brand-new chapter in her life after changing her name. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member was so open throughout Season 15 about changing her last name from Stracke to Brown after getting her relationship with her ex annulled, and her new necklace, which she wore to the RHOBH Season 15 reunion, reflects that.
Sutton took to her Instagram Story recently, where she shared an up-close look at the custom-made SB monogram, designed by artist Kat McCall. The stunning pendant with scroll lettering can be seen set in gold and adorned with so many diamonds, while sitting on a super sparkly diamond and gold chain. While Kat designed her new monogram, LA-based jewelry designer Suzanne Wilson put the necklace together.
Suzanne took to Instagram on April 15, where she posted Sutton’s full RHOBH Season 15 reunion outfit, as well as close-up looks at the necklace, capturing all of the intricate details. “Such a special custom piece for [Sutton Stracke],” she wrote in the caption of the post. “So surreal seeing her wear it at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion! What an honor to be trusted with this design.”

Although Sutton is going by Sutton Brown, she admitted on the RHOBH After Show that she has not gone through the process to get it legally changed. “It’s gonna take a lot. It’s gonna take a lot of paperwork,” she admitted.Â
However, it is a process that she is willing to go through. She told producers in the RHOBH After Show that she will legally change her last name “in the next couple of months.”

Why did Sutton Stracke change her last name?
The Georgia native had admitted during RHOBH Season 15, Episode 9, that changing her name was symbolic of a new chapter in her life years after her divorce from her ex-husband. “A lot is changing in my life right now,” she told producers during the episode in a confessional. “I think that women my age…start to change…physically, emotionally. Our hormones are all crazy. And then, also, we become these empty nesters where our baby birds leave. Which presents this question of, ‘Who are we?’ To lose your name, on top of that, is meaningful and difficult.”
Using a new last name has also been an experiment for Sutton. As she explained to producers in RHOBH Season 15, Episode 4: “It feels very young to be Sutton Brown, because I was young the last time I was Sutton Brown. It feels like a second lease on life.”
“It’s sort of like the old days when we went into a dressing room to try on clothes,” she said later in the episode. “Trying on this name to see, like, how it feels. Does this name still even resemble me?”
