After missing a weekend in the Hamptons, Amanda caught up with Ciara Miller back in New York City during Summer House Season 10, Episode 13. In their debrief, Amanda opened up about her and Kyle’s latest couples therapy session, in addition to providing a producer with even more intel on how everything began.
“In couples therapy, I am telling this woman our love story, and it sounds like a f–kin’, like, psychological thriller,” Amanda admitted in a confessional. “There is no rom in this com, OK?”

She explained, “I’m like, ‘Yeah, so we met, and he wouldn’t define the relationship with me. And then he broke up with me. He made out with multiple women. We got engaged. And then there was a rumor that he cheated on me. And then we got married. And then there’s been multiple rumors ever since. And now we hate each other, and here we are.'”
Their therapist’s response? “She’s like, ‘Where is the part where you fell in love?'” Amanda concluded.
Amanda Batula opens up to Ciara Miller about couples therapy with Kyle Cooke
In her chat with Ciara, Amanda shared more details on her and Kyle’s session, months prior to their eventual separation, which they announced in January 2026.
“There were certain things I say where you could tell that he just was, like, feeling a bit uncomfortable,” Amanda told Ciara. “But it felt good to, like, say everything.”

Amanda added that “it felt good to, like, say everything.” At the same time, however, she noted that Kyle seemed to be on a totally different page than her while they were unpacking their marital issues.
“When we talk, I feel like my frustrations with him stem from, like, early on,” she continued. “So, whenever I’m talking, I’m talking about, like, pre-wedding. And, like, it feels like everything he’s talking about is almost, like, post-wedding, like current.”

Elsewhere in their conversation, Amanda highlighted the fact that she’d missed a “big weekend” in the Hamptons, given that Ciara and West Wilson made up amid her absence. “That’s why I have to stay back sometimes, so that, like, these big gestures happen,” Amanda joked, before detailing her “fabulous” solo weekend in NYC.
“It was so necessary,” Amanda said. “I think I’m, like, falling into a depression again where I’m just, like, really tired. I’m just sort of out of it and not feeling myself.”
That’s when Ciara brought up how Jesse Solomon had observed a marked difference in Kyle’s demeanor throughout that particular weekend.
“We were kind of talking about it this weekend,” Ciara recalled. “Jesse was like, I feel like Kyle was almost able to, like, be himself this weekend without you there. And I’m like, yeah, it’s probably great for them to just, like, have time apart.”
Ciara went on to ask Amanda, “Do you ever wonder if, like, you guys took time apart and, like, separated for, like, two weeks, a month or something, and, like, were able to, like, focus more on the crux of your issues…”
Amanda responded, “I agree. And I don’t think that that’s, like, a bad idea. I just feel like he would never go for it. Never.”
As Ciara further commented in a confessional, “Behind closed doors, nobody really knows what’s happening in a marriage. I would hope and pray that it’s entirely different than what I’m seeing. But at this point, what I’m seeing doesn’t feel like it’s conducive to, like, building a future together.”
