Kyle took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 29, after Carl hosted his soft opening for Soft Bar during Summer House Season 10, Episode 13. The Loverboy founder posted so many photos from the August 2025 event, snapping photos of Carl, the drinks, and his fellow Summer House Season 10 cast members. He then took to the caption of the post where he expressed his pride for his BFF. “Beyond proud of Carl’s accomplishments, personally and professionally, and opening [Soft Bar and Café] is one of his greatest all-time accomplishments,” he wrote. “Putting yourself out there and taking a ton of risk doing something that isn’t widely accepted or adopted is the very premise of entrepreneurship.”

He further revealed that he loves Carl and was filled with “a ton of pride” when he attended Soft Bar’s soft opening. “If you’re in or visiting NYC, make sure you put a visit on your to do list!!” Kyle added.

Kyle Cooke admits he regrets not investing in Soft Bar

He continued in the caption of the post, admitting that he regrets not investing in Carl’s business. “I wish I could have shown my belief in Carl in the form of an investment, and in retrospect, wish I wrote a small check of confidence, but hindsight is 20/20,” he noted. “Most people don’t have cameras following them.”

Kyle has been so open about his own hardships with his business, Loverboy, throughout Summer House Season 10. However, he expressed his disappointment in how upset Carl was with him not investing in Soft Bar during Summer House Season 10, Episode 13. “To be honest, I’m a little shook,” Kyle explained to a producer during the episode. “You know, this conversation about investing took place literally seven months ago, and again this summer. I’ve tried to be open and honest with where I’m at with my business, marriage, our sex life. He knows more than everybody.”
