As Captain Jason Chambers’ team — including cast members Daisy Kelliher, João Franco, Ben Robinson, Elena “Ellie” Dubaich, Alesia Harris, Eddy Hounsell, Barbara “Barbie” Pascual, Jenna Woudberg, and Betul Yazici — went their separate ways, he gave his final assessment of the Canouan-set season that kicked off with the ladies from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City coming aboard for an epic crossover event.

“I can tell you this much: This charter season was one for the books,” Jason remarked in a confessional. “Sure, there was conflict, there was heartbreak, and plenty of hard lessons learned along the way. At the end of the day, people grew up, relationships were mended, egos were checked, and respect was earned.”

He added, “I’m pretty proud of this crew this season. Although it feels like a goodbye now, I think it’s the beginning of some great friendships.”

Read on to find out how Captain Jason and his crew ended Season 4 and get exclusive updates on what the cast has been up to since filming wrapped.

Captain Jason Chambers’ life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

At the final tip meeting of Season 4, Captain Jason announced that his crew had earned a grand total of $235,700 in gratuities, which amounted to $26,189 per person. “The reviews are great,” he informed his team. “It takes a village, doesn’t it? You worked very hard. You should be very proud of yourselves.”

The Gosford, Australia, native even volunteered to wear the disco ball helmet, laughing about the fact he had to “to strip down for a tip.” Before Captain Jason officially closed his logbook, he joked, “What a season, eh? I can still hear the Housewives.”

Post-filming, Captain Jason revealed exclusively to BravoTV.com that he still “regularly” checks in with his entire Season 4 team. Work aside, he added that he’s currently living in Bali and has “a few dive trips planned” with his 11-year-old daughter, Saskia.

As for his personal life, Captain Jason shared that he’s “still single and ready to date.”

Daisy Kelliher’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Daisy ended Season 4 in a full-fledged boatmance with bunkmate João, declaring that she was ready to “invest more energy into him” and “willing to see if the chemistry keeps building.” After filming wrapped, however, Daisy and João’s relationship fizzled, as she revealed in an interview with BravoTV.com.

“Nothing happened between us,” Daisy shared, adding that their friendship is “fine,” but they “don’t really stand anywhere,” otherwise. The chief stew noted that she is currently single.

As for her standing with the rest of the cast these days, Daisy described her friendship with Chef Ben as also being “fine,” and said she’s still in regular contact with Jenna. Following their Season 4 drama, she has not spoken to Ellie, however. After a clash with Mike Durrant that led to his firing, Daisy said, “He got in touch with me to apologize.”

Outside of yachting, Daisy is now based in London and has also been working on her Yacht Mess podcast, which she co-hosts with Marc MacNamara.

João Franco’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Though we now know their fate, prior to departing M/Y Katina, João told a producer, “I’ve only known Daisy for a short time, but I feel very privileged to have her trust me with her emotions. Can I see something more than casual? The quick answer is yes. I want to see where this goes.”

From a professional standpoint, the second officer continued, “I genuinely have a special place in my heart for Ben and Daisy ’cause we grew professionally and intimately. I’m so grateful for the time we’ve had together.” João even got choked up saying goodbye to Captain Jason, describing him as “a father figure and a brother.”

His final take on Season 4? “Well, I did use the word cataclysmic, and that is exactly what it was,” João reiterated on the Below Deck Down Under After Show. “Everything was just so intense.”

Ben Robinson’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Before heading out for new culinary adventures, Ben had a “debt to settle” with Ellie, who counted 17 beans in his “honey pot.” After paying her out for his slip-ups, Ben also gifted Ellie a chef’s knife and said he’d recommend her for any sous chef position, despite her recently denied promotion.

“One of the main reasons I did this [season] was to see if I could still do it,” he explained in a confessional. “I think people have to be pushed to really know who they are, and I feel that happened to me this season. I grew up, and I’ve learned a lot, but I’m still Ben. When I get off this boat, I just can’t wait to start calling everyone babe again.”

On the After Show, Ben revealed that he’d paid Ellie $200, joking that, at $10 per bean, she actually still owed him $30. “The wrap-up of the honey pot was a big weight off my shoulders,” he said. “I’d been biting my tongue a lot. Like, I’d caught myself so many times nearly saying, you know, a pet name.”

Despite their early friction, Ben added that he and Ellie have exchanged messages post-filming, and she’s even told him that she now understands and respects his position more than ever.

Elena “Ellie” Dubaich’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Part of the reason for Ellie’s new perspective on Ben’s job is that she went through intensive culinary training after Season 4 wrapped and is now a chef herself. “I acquired the highest diploma that there is, which is level 4, in the U.K. in culinary arts,” she explained on the After Show. “My title — so that everybody’s clear — is now Chef Ellie, thank you very much.”

Ultimately, she credited the “serendipitous opportunity” to work with Chef Ben as the inspiration for her new culinary career. “I see Ben almost like my brother at this point,” Ellie told BravoTV.com. “He has been very supportive of my culinary journey and checked in with me many times during my time in culinary school. I have an even better understanding for him now that I’ve graduated from school and know the amount of pressure there is on the chef’s shoulders.”

Aside from Ben, Ellie has stayed in touch with Barbie, Eddy, Betul, and Alesia. After not speaking to João “for quite a while since filming,” the two have gotten to a place where they are now “cordial” with each other. “I felt played by him and felt stupid, so I had no interest in any interactions,” she explained. “Before the season aired, we decided to be professional about it. Apologies were issued and we’ve left it at that.”

Nowadays, Ellie is spending some time in Tulum, Mexico, where she’s running her OnlyFans page and saving up for more culinary training to specialize as a pastry chef. “Once my studies are completed this year, I will be looking for work at a high-end restaurant, most likely in Europe,” she said. “I’m so excited for this new challenge and so happy this all worked out the way it did. I would have never been here if it hadn’t been for my serendipitous season on Katina.”

Alesia Harris’ life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Like Ellie, Alesia was also denied a promotion to second stew before the end of the charter season that saw her transfer from a sous chef position into a role on Daisy’s interior team. By the finale, she also apologized to Jenna for being “quick with [her] emotions” and squashed any lingering beef between them.

Alesia updated BravoTV.com that, post-filming, she and her boyfriend moved in together and spent a “beautiful summer together.” When his expired visa led him to relocate to New Zealand, however, their relationship ended. “We still keep in touch, and I admire him so much,” Alesia said, noting that she’s now “loving life” in Whistler, Canada, and in the “early days” of a relationship with someone new.

She also talks to Eddy “all the time” now, describing how it’s been “great to have a friend” while watching the season back. Alesia has also stayed in touch with Betul, “occasionally” speaks to Ellie, and has even hung out with Mike in Los Angeles, joking that he “still causes trouble and gossips.”

As for what she would like to set the record straight on from Season 4, Alesia concluded, “I didn’t ever want to come across self-entitled by asking for change. I’m grateful for the experience, and it came across differently than I intended.”

Jenna Woudberg’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

In addition to making up with Alesia, Jenna also hugged it out Eddy after their tumultuous failed boatmance which had contributed to her recent demotion from the second stew role. (Just prior to the final guest departure, Daisy officially gave Jenna her stripes back, however.)

As Jenna updated viewers on the After Show, she and Eddy kissed when their paths unexpectedly crossed again, later on. “I seek validation from men way too much,” she admitted. “Also, playing with people for your advantage is not right.”

Jenna told BraovTV.com that there’s still one thing she wanted to clarify about her love triangle with Eddy and Chef Ben, though. “Remember the early morning run to a guest cabin with audio of me kissing Ben? Well, it was just a friendly good morning peck! I mean João was in the room too!”

Since filming ended, Jenna has not been in contact with Ben but said that Eddy still messages her “every now and then.” Though she also has not been in touch with Ellie or Mike at all, Jenna insisted that she’s “on good terms with everyone,” nonetheless. In fact, she and Daisy have grown so close that they even got matching martini glass ankle tattoos during a recent girls’ trip to Ibiza. Professionally, Jenna is now working as a second stew on a “drama-free boat” in Europe but is keeping her current relationship status under wraps.

Eddy Hounsell’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Eddy also detailed the circumstances around his and Jenna’s post-filming kiss on the After Show, explaining that they’d “happened to bump into” each other amidst separate yachting jobs in the same location. “It was nice,” he said. “[We] went for some beers.”

As Eddy previously revealed during a May 18 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, however, their reconciliation hit a bump, especially after he saw the April 27 episode. That’s because, according to the deckhand, he and Jenna actually had “a really big sit-down and discussed everything” that happened between them, but she left out the part where she made a late-night visit to Ben’s room and then went directly to his bed afterward.

When asked where they all stand today, Eddy shared, “Jenna and I remain civil and hope for the best for her yachting. I look at people with rose-tinted glasses and just want to see the best out of them. I’m a hopeless romantic and I stand by that still. Jenna is a great girl! Ben is the wonderfully weird man he is. I have a lot of admiration for them both and wish them the best.”

As for the rest of his fellow yachties, Eddy counts Alesia as one of his “closest friends,” said he regularly chats with João about yachting, and even teased that viewers may not have seen the last of him and Mike together on their screens. Currently based in the UK, he has also been playing rugby while studying to further his yachting career. Eddy quipped that his Instagram should be enough proof that he’s not “experiencing romance” right now, however.

Barbara “Barbie” Pascual’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Though Barbie did not join the Season 4 crew until Episode 15 in the wake of Mike’s termination, the stew said that was plenty of time to observe some major changes within herself since she “technically” quit Season 11 of Below Deck. “I came here this season to listen to authority,” Barbie stated in a confessional. “I am so proud of myself, I really am.”

Reflecting on her “short time” as a stew on the vessel, Barbie further remarked on the After Show, “I realized that lowering your head sometimes is what you need to do, and sometimes your ego isn’t the most important thing.”

Post-filming, Barbie said she still regularly talks to Jenna, Eddy, Mike, and, of course, her close friend Ellie. “I had no idea all that Ellie went through this season!” she admitted to BravoTV.com. “Watching back made me feel for her. She worked hard and deserved more recognition than what she got. If Alesia was called a sous chef, Ellie is a sous chef too!”

Barbie is now living in Miami where she said she works “in administration for a large company” and is hoping that her “conversion to Judaism will come soon.” In the romance department, she shared only that she’s “seeing where life takes me.”

Betul Yazici’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

As the cast celebrated the end of their charter season at a yacht club in Canouan, Betul took the opportunity to heap praise on her “unbelievable” journey with Captain Jason and João. “For many years, I was manipulated by my parents, so I want to say thank you Jason,” the deckhand gushed. “I remember we had that conversation, and you’re just behind me and you supported me. You were always there.”

As Betul exclusively revealed to BravoTV.com, she actually went on to get married after Season 4 wrapped. “It happened a little suddenly, and we still haven’t had a wedding yet,” the deckhand explained. “Five days after getting married, I started working on a yacht, but everything is going really well right now.”

She’s currently working on a yacht in Italy as a deck stew and has also gained experience as a crew chef. “I still don’t know exactly which department I want to continue in long term,” Betula noted. “My husband and I would love to find a couple’s position together, and I want to be able to say, ‘I have experience in that,’ wherever there’s opportunity and demand.”

As for where she stands with her castmates today, Betul added, “I speak with Eddy and Ellie the most. I’ve FaceTimed with Alesia many times — I truly love her. I also keep in touch with Jason, João, and Barbie from time to time.”

Mike Durrant’s life after Below Deck Down Under Season 4

Mike, for his part, shed more light on his post-firing conversations with the chief stew. “I actually messaged her to apologize for my work ethic and actions during the season,” the deck stew revealed in an interview. “Outside of work, we had a really good relationship, so I felt bad that I let her down in the interior. Honestly, I wasn’t surprised by the firing. I understood her reasoning and looking back, I agreed with it.”

Mike continued, “Watching the season back gave me the opportunity to properly reflect on where I needed to improve. It helped me understand the mistakes I made and what I would do differently in the future. I should have taken the job side of things more seriously and contributed more consistently as part of the team.”

Since leaving Katina, Mike said he’s done “a few short yacht contracts” and is now spending most of his time in Mallorca. “I’d love to continue gaining more experience on deck in the future,” he said. “I’ve also started building an online business selling parties and events around the world — and of course continuing content creation as well.”

Now that the cast has said bon voyage to each other, find out everything to know about the charter guests they served on Below Deck Down Under Season 4.
