As “homewrecker” rumors swirled on In The City, cast member Danielle Olivera set the record straight on her and boyfriend Eoin Heavey’s relationship timeline in an exclusive new interview.

Though Danielle admitted that Eoin is “technically still married” to his estranged wife, she clarified during Episode 4 that she did not start dating him until four months after they had separated. “I think that more people are gonna have questions on the timeline, and I’m happy to give them,” Danielle told BravoTV.com earlier this month. “But also, it’s not necessarily all my story to tell. There’s two other people involved.”
She added, “Obviously, I would wish that people give Eoin a chance to do any clarifying that he needs to do as well, but what I will say, with everything that’s inside me, there was no overlap whatsoever. I don’t want people to think that our relationship came from him cheating on his ex. It did not.”
How Danielle Olivera’s pregnancy impacted Eoin Heavey’s divorce
In May, Danielle and Eoin revealed they’re expecting their first baby together. As for whether or not her pregnancy announcement complicated Eoin’s ongoing divorce, she added, “To be honest, I don’t know. I think that, if I were to put myself in his ex’s shoes, obviously, you don’t want to see your ex-husband move on so quickly. And even if it wasn’t right for them, it still has to sting, it still has to hurt.”

Either way, Danielle is still unsure when Eoin’s divorce from his ex will be finalized.
“It could be just New York State dragging its feet,” the Summer House alum shared of the delay. “You know, sometimes it just takes a while, and it’s for no other reason than the courts and the legal side of things. It’s like I don’t agree with it, but I understand it.”

During In The City‘s June 9 episode, Danielle explained in a confessional that an article had come out “spreading rumors” that she was a “homewrecker,” even though her and Eoin’s romance began several months after he and his estranged wife split.
Then, while the couple was out celebrating a friend’s birthday, Katie Arundel’s husband, Matt, showed Eoin a group text in which Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke were discussing and making light of the false rumors that she’d broken up Eoin’s marriage. “He is technically still married, but I’m not wrecking any home,” Danielle insisted to a producer. “The home doesn’t exist anymore.”

As she put it to Eoin afterward, “To hear that these things are said about me behind my back by my friends, that sucks because it’s nowhere near who I am.” Danielle continued, “Like, have the balls to tell me to my face as well. I have enough s–t going on. I mean, Amanda has enough s–t going on, like, and Kyle.”
As viewers might recall, the In The City trailer teased Amanda accusing Eoin of having “a whole-ass wife still,” so expect more drama ahead.
Danielle Olivera and Eoin Heavey reveal how and when they met
In an earlier January interview with BravoTV.com, Danielle and Eoin broke down how and when their relationship began. “We met a long time ago,” Eoin explained. “We both moved to New York around the same time, kind of after college, and we would have overlapped a little bit in regard to friend groups or parties back then. And we did meet back then.”
However, Eoin, who works as a tech entrepreneur, eventually relocated to Miami, and the two did not reconnect until he moved back to NYC nearly a decade later in early 2025. Though they’ve been dating for just over a year now, he joked, “It feels like it’s going on five to ten years, which is a great feeling.”
After six months of dating, Danielle and Eoin also moved in together at the end of last summer. “So we’re navigating that,” she chimed in. “Cleaning out closets. Mostly me trying to get rid of stuff ’cause I have a lot of things. But yeah, basically we’re just trying to hang out, do our day-to-day stuff, work, play. We travel a lot so that’s been nice.”
