Where to Eat, Drink & More

There’s no one way to “do” New York City, but the Next Gen NYC cast definitely has their own. Bravo Insider asked them for their favorites, from their go-to coffee and bagel orders to the thrift stores they swear by, plus a few strong (and possibly controversial) takes on subway etiquette and overrated staples.

How to Watch

Next Gen NYC premieres Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes stream next day on Peacock.

Stream on Nbcuniversal Peacock Logo

Up first: Georgia McCann.

Favorite place to see and be seen? “Walking the streets anywhere in Manhattan on the first warm day of the year, feeling like Christ the Redeemer.”

Favorite park? “Central Park, duh.”

Favorite movie theater? “IFC, and I do love Regal Essex for the reclining seats and location.”

Favorite brunch spot? “Anywhere that doesn’t advertise brunch.”

Favorite place for a date? “Ending up at Winnie’s somehow.”

Favorite workout class or gym? “Solidcore.”

Favorite place to thrift or shop? “Ellen’s on Ludlow.”

What is your “impress someone in NYC” itinerary in 3 stops? “If I wanted to impress someone in NYC, I’d take them to all the spots that I’m friends with the staff at and say, ‘See, look, everyone knows me.'”

What’s your go-to coffee and bagel order? “I don’t drink caffeine because I have joie de vivre. My bagel order is a toasted everything flagel with scallion cream cheese and cucumber. I don’t have a favorite bagel spot — just anywhere close to me at that particular moment. Bagels are for beggars, not choosers.”

What makes an NYC hotspot Gen Z versus millennial? “If it feels like it was designed for photos or Instagram and not real life, it’s a millennial spot.”

Are you a fan of any New York sports teams? “I am the biggest Mets fan ever. I don’t care about any other sports or teams.”

What’s the most overrated NYC staple (bagels, pizza, etc.)? “Black and white cookies?”

What’s your go-to excuse when you don’t want to cross boroughs? “I’m just like, There’s no way going out to Brooklyn is worth the expense of the car ride back home.'”

What’s your toxic NYC trait — being late, canceling, or overscheduling? “Not sleeping the night before and cancelling in-person plans the next day as a result. I always feel so feeble for that.”

What’s your subway etiquette hot take? “Please, for the love of god, put in headphones on the train if you’re listening to something. It’s not your bedroom.”

As you await answers from Georgia’s castmates, get a sneak peek at what’s to come on Next Gen NYC Season 2, premiering Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and streaming next day on Peacock.
