Rumors were flying after Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy announced they were going their separate ways in October 2025, and now Ariana is addressing one of the biggest misconceptions about the end of her relationship with her longtime boyfriend during the Next Gen NYC After Show. She denied that her mother, Kim Zolciak, was a factor in their breakup.
“Everybody said that Hudson was giving my mom money. Which I literally would never ever allow that to happen,” Ariana shared. “Any money that my mom was ever receiving was always from me.”
The social media influencer added, “Hudson would of course help my mom out, had I ever asked,” but clarified, “I never would ask him. That is not his job in any capacity, nor his family’s job.”
Gia Giudice pointed out on the After Show that the rumors weren’t entirely without merit, and added, “Hudson made it seem like maybe he did help out Kim.” Gia was referring to Next Gen NYC Season 1 conversations between Ariana and Hudson over Ariana sending her mother money.
“He got frustrated that I was finally making money, and like able to support myself, and at a place where the money was going to my bank account, and he was frustrated for me to have to help my mom out,” Ariana admitted.
You’ll recall Ariana confessed during Season 1: “Unfortunately, my parents took my money.” She alleged Kim and her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, kept the money she made on Instagram brand deals beginning when she was a teenager.

Ariana explained why her supporting her mother as an adult upset Hudson. “When he was like…‘Your parents took all of your money, why are you helping your mom out?’ [He meant] like, not, ‘Why are you?’ But, ‘You need to not be doing that,’” Ariana clarified on the After Show. “‘Because like, you need to keep your own money. She can support herself.’”
Ariana Biermann shares why she was helping her mother, Kim Zolciak, out financially
During the Next Gen NYC Season 2 After Show, Ariana addressed another controversial moment with her mother from Season 1, as Gia brought up “the whole bottle of wine thing.”
“My mom was asking me to send her some money, and she was drinking a bottle of [Antinori] Tignanello at dinner that night that she asked me to send her whatever it was,” Ariana recalled. “And I was like, ‘What the f—k? Why are you drinking a bottle of Tignanello. That’s a $300 bottle of wine.’ But again, she was with her friends, and like her friends got the bottle of wine, whatever.”
Ariana conceded, “Yeah, there was times it’s definitely frustrating.” But then she explained why she chose to help her mother financially. “It’s like, I’m never going to say no to my mom. She’s my mom.”
Ariana referenced Kim and Kroy’s ongoing contentious divorce as part of why she chose to help with bills. “She had a f—king tough a—s three years. It’s been terrible,” Ariana admitted.
Ariana Biermann reveals an update on Kim Zolciak’s financial situation

“You can always make more money,” Ariana continued. “You can’t have a new mom. She’s my best friend.”
