Jennifer Pedranti kicked off The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Season 20 premiere with some shocking news about her 17-year-old son, Greyson.
While swapping “difficult” parenting updates over dinner with castmate Emily Simpson in Episode 1 (streaming on Peacock beginning July 10), Jenn shared that her son recently had a run-in with the law. “Greyson got pulled over the other day,” the mom of five recounted. “And I said, ‘Wait, wait. Grey, how fast did they pull you over for?’ 105. I lost my mind, like inappropriately. I was cussing. I was like, ‘What the f–k?'”
In a confessional, Jenn added, “It’s so out of character for Grayson. It, like, shook me on so many levels that it makes me wonder, is something else going on? Because it’s just not who he is.”

Later on, Jenn and her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, addressed the issue with Greyson directly. As she informed him, her ex-husband, Will Pedranti, had messaged her to let her know that the fines from his speeding ticket totaled $700. “We need to come up with a plan,” Jenn told her son. “Like, there’s not enough In-N-Out you can work to make up this.”
Jennifer Pedranti shared more updates on her kids and family during the RHOC Season 20 premiere
As mentioned, Jenn has five children with her ex Will. In addition to Greyson, they include sons Harrison, 22, Dawson, 19, and Dominic, 12, as well as 15-year-old daughter Everleigh, aka Evvy. During her chat with Greyson, which Evvy was also present for, Jenn mentioned that Dawson had just been at the house “laughing about” his ticket. She admitted that Dawson had been pulled over “too many” times himself, though.
“Wait until your kids get older and everything gets harder,” Jenn remarked in a confessional, before updating viewers on what’s been going on in all of her kids’ lives.
“I never have any control over when I even hear from Dawson; he’s in the Marines at Camp Pendleton,” she said. “Harrison’s working with an engineering firm, and right out of USC, they took him to Singapore.”

She continued by sharing that Evvy “is becoming a woman” and said they’d already “had fights about how to put a tampon in” on multiple occasions. As for her youngest child, Dominic, Jenn added that he’s also “going through some stuff at school,” but did not elaborate on the specifics of his issues.
Referring to the speeding ticket, Jenn concluded, “Greyson, like the easiest kid on earth, messed up.”
What else to expect from Jennifer Pedranti on RHOC Season 20
The RHOC Season 20 trailer already gave viewers a hint that they can expect to see Jenn’s son navigating some emotional issues this year.
In one clip, for example, she asked Greyson, “Are people being unkind to you?” After he answered, “Yeah,” Jenn was shown covering her face and sobbing. You’ll have to tune in for full details on their conversation, however.
Jenn’s official Season 20 bio offers more clues at what’s ahead, including that she “has her hands full as she continues to build a future with her fiancé Ryan, while juggling a house full of teens.”
Her bio further teased, “Jennifer steps up as peacemaker among the women, helping them repair their relationships with Tamra [Judge], and in the process, she finds herself rethinking her stance on her former foe. Meanwhile, Jennifer introduces her friend Carmella [Garcia] to the group, but when Carmella presents a possible new career path for her, the group becomes skeptical about the legitimacy of the offer.”
In the meantime, don’t miss details on the rest of the RHOC cast’s lives on Season 20 too.
